(no subject)
OMG. It's August. I can't believe how quickly this summer has gone by. Tell me, when does Time STOP whizzing past, and mature into a nice, slow crawl?
Soon, I'll be reinstated at UCSD, rehashing my summer with my college friends and missing my home ones. Soon, I'll be exercising my OL duties (ack!) in place of my job at AE (though I might get a transfer). Soon, I'll be away from the oppressive, smothering attention of my parents and under the rather relaxed regulation of public schooling.
Well, that part I'm definitely looking forward to. It would help if I weren't the only child at home at the moment; then my parents could spread the love between myself and a sibling. But no, one of them has flown the nest permanently and the other is sitting pretty in another country, not to return until August 14. And then, she'll be off to her school. In the meantime, I'll pray for more hours at work, and be smothered. T_T
