Last night, a group of people, including myself, went to Ring of Fire at Price Center, which was really awesome! Most of us got henna tattoos either somewhere on our arms or backs, which looked amazing. We also got to see some great performances by parrots and dancers. My favorite was the lone girl dancing with fire! I missed the knife dancing, unfortunately. ^_^
After we were henna-ed, we were starving. The food had disappeared by that time, so we went to OVT instead. It is ridiculously difficult, attempting to eat an OVT burrito with one hand. Afterwards, KLo and I got mini-cups of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, then we trooped back home.
Since we apparently didn't feel like sleeping, Ann grabbed some movies and we raided the Digital Playroom, where we proceeded to watch Moulin Rouge on the plasma-screen TV. My god, I love Sixth College.
Then, we went back and oiled/lemon-juiced our hands, in order to darken the henna.
I decided I was really thirsty, so KLo and I went to the soda machines. Cool Nestea just does not hold a candle to Lipton. >_<
Then, when we went back to the dorm, we swung by the other girls' suite, where they were proceeding to set up a sleepover in the common room! Well, we had to join the fun! I grabbed blankets and pillows, and dragged them into the other suite, locking the door behind me. Then, I realized that I had forgotten a blanket. So, I go back to my room... without my keys. >_< I had to call the RA on duty... who just happened to be MY RA! Haha, that was the first time I had to call an RA, and it just had to be Daniel. Anyway, he let me in, I grabbed my blanket and keys, and off to the other suite! We set up the mattresses on the floor, watched maybe a quarter of Bring it On! and then Ann's computer crashed/froze/did something it wasn't supposed to do. So then WE crashed.
Woke up around 10 today, but Megan, Ann, and I went back to sleep (well, I sorta slept) until 12. And now, here I sit, having dressed, done my hair, and gotten ready to brunch. Fun times!
As always,
Hanna
