Back for Christmas
You wouldn’t believe the number of times I’ve been insulted in Arabic during this week. The good part is, I’ve found out I’m awesome at haggling. I’ve bought plenty of things and I’ve paid for them much less than my classmates. I am a very aggresive buyer, and that's kind of cool.
The trip has been awesome. I rode a camel, drove a quad and froze to death in the Sahara desert. The return wasn’t so cool, since one of our flights was delayed and we missed one plane. Moreover, our bags ended up lost. It was funny nonetheless- and when I got back home, my parents told me I had won a writing contest. New laptop, yay.
On a side note, today I bought the first season of Heroes (I can’t stop looking at it, oh sooooo shiny) with my mother’s money- an endearing Christmas moment, isn’t it? So, anyway, Merry Christmas to all the people who really celebrate Christmas.
PS. I swear I’ll never get used to receiving emails from my Art History teacher. Never.
