Special edition ‘Year-end party’
We’ll bring Arashi’s year-end party this year as well. They enjoyed the delicious nabe while talking about their activities in 2018 where they worked hard as a group and solo.
--- In the beginning of 2018, you started the year by working on Matsumoto san-‘s drama’s soundtrack ’99,9 season II’.
櫻井: We did. I thought it would be 100% in season II, but it stayed in 99,9.
松本: Japanese legal system is tough. It wasn’t a drama which aimed for 100% in the first place (laugh).
二宮: The drama aimed for the remaining 0,1% (laugh).
櫻井: So it would be better if it became 99,8% (laugh).
松本: You’re right, it would be better that way. Our first work as a group in 2018 was the filming of ‘Find the Answer’.
大野: You’re right.
櫻井: Was that our first work?
相葉: Yes, it was the first work for the five of us.
--- In February was Sakurai-san’s Pyongchang Olympic.
櫻井: Yes, I bought you souvenirs. What were they?
4 others: Pouch!
櫻井: That’s right (laugh). I was there for quite a long time, that’s why I had enough time to choose the souvenirs. I bought around 7-8 kinds of souvenirs, five items for each. I told everyone to choose the items they liked, but all I bought were knit caps and gloves which weren’t that useful in the middle of February since it was already warm enough in Japan (laugh). All of you went for the pouch. After that, I brought the other souvenirs to Sexy Zone’s dressing room.
二宮: I guessed Sexy Zone must be surprised.

--- Starting in April, the members drama and movie began to air/publish. ‘Black Pean’ in April and ‘Laplace’s Witch’ in May.
松本: I watched it.
大野: I watched one episode prior to the last one.
櫻井: Which means that you didn’t watch the last episode.
All: Lol
二宮: E? You didn’t watch the last episode?
大野: I didn’t.
二宮: Weren’t you curious about the continuation?

大野: I always couldn’t watch Nino’s drama’s full episodes. I watched ‘Freeter, Ie wo Kau’ until episode five.

二宮: I haven’t watched ‘Laplace’s.’
櫻井: It’s hard to watch movies. I thought about it when I watched ‘GANTZ’. It was the member’s movie, of course, the theater was full of Arashi’s fans. I couldn’t step to that kind of place (laugh).
大野: You’re right, I wanted to watch it in the theater, though (laugh).
相葉: Yes, it was hard (laugh).
--- Now, Aiba-san’s drama is on air ‘Boku to Shippo to Kagurazaka’.
松本: I only watched the first episode.
櫻井: I watched it in the dressing room with Ohno-san.
大野: Yes, we watched it.
松本: What was it, Aiba-san’s script ‘I accepted, your feelings.’
相葉: Yes, it means I accepted the feelings from the other people.
松本: That one, Kou-sensei’s script was very nice.

大野: I don’t know much about baseball, but I was so touched.
二宮: It was touching, the sacred feeling was very great.
大野: Yes, I felt it when we entered the baseball field.
櫻井: We can’t enter the ground as the spectators, not mentioning how many times we watch the game.
相葉: Next year, Sho-chan will work for Rugby World Cup, right?
