Kimi no Uta locations pilgrimage
A lovely Saturday afternoon in the middle of November. I thought that the air would be colder, but today, the temperature reached 24 degrees with a clear blue sky and a warm sun shine. Tbh, I didn't plan to do this pilgrimage, but because I need to escape from my assignments and the locations were close to each other, so I decided to visit all of them :)))
‘Kimi no Uta’ PV was filmed in Asakusa and Ryougoku, Tokyo in five different locations: Yuwaeru Restaurant (Sho), Infinity Book Store (Nino), Sasaya Café (Aiba and the rest), Oyokogawa Shinsui Park (Ohno), and Kissa Laundry Café (Jun). The locations were spread around Skytree and within walking distance, except for Kissa Laundry Café. The Oyokogawa Shinsui Park located at the same place with Sasaya Café (it was the building which Ohno looking at from the bridge above the park).
We (my husband and I) visited Yuwaeru restaurant as the starting point. It was located around two minutes from Kuramae station, very close to Sumida River. There were around ten other guests outside of the restaurant, lining up after writing their name on the clipboard. Some of them were Arashi’s fans too. We waited for around fifteen minutes before we got our turn to enter the restaurant.
The restaurant was the old-fashioned one, where we took the menu by ourselves except for the rice and the soup. The price was around 1.100 yen per portion. The shop also sold the uncooked rice and various kind of spices. The food was delicious and healthy.
The menu changes each day, so we couldn't order the same menu with what Sho had.
After finishing our lunch, we continued to Oyokogawa Shinsui Park which located around ten minutes from Yuwaeru restaurant. The park was in line with a small river and it was really close with Skytree. We met a few fans there, taking pictures at the exact same place where Ohno walked. We skipped Sasaya Café because we just had lunch and it was too early to drink coffee, so we only took a picture from outside of the café.

Sasaya Cafe from the outside, it was located in the same area with the park. (You can see the cafe's name behind Ohno in the PV making).
We then moved on to Infinity book store. It took ten minutes from Oyokogawa Shinsui Park to reach the store. I bought two books from there and asked the owner whether it was okay to take picture (I found some information on the internet that the owner didn’t allow photos). The bookstore’s owner was a British, he told us that there were many fans came to his store just to take photos and most of them did it without permission which somehow, irritated him. He also said that he didn’t even know who Nino was when he filmed the PV in his store. It was all about manner, I think it would be nice if we ask him first or it would be nicer if we bought a book there (the books were very cheap).

We visited Kissa Laundry Café after that. We took a bus; the bus stop was right in front of the bookstore which was very convenient (Azumabashi Ichoume). We alighted at Chitose Sanchome bus stop and walked around five minutes to the café. We ordered a cup of coffee and a roll cake. I coincidently took a seat on the exact same chair as Jun (even though I didn’t remember that Jun sat there), luckily my husband realized it and he took my picture.
Not the exact chair, but anyway...
the same chair, yay haha
The locations were all stylish and worth visiting, particularly the restaurant where Sho had his lunch (or breakfast, I presume).
