It was midnight; the digital clock showed 12.45 am, there was no sound inside that apartment room, the city light came through the curtain, but it wasn’t enough to get rid of the darkness. Sho blinked his eyes, it was the second night since he got back to Tokyo, but the jetlag effect still remained and he always awoken at this hour and he needed extra effort to get back to sleep.
He adjusted his eyes to the darkness and turned his head to his left side; Jun was fast asleep, his face was half-hidden by the blanket, his left hand was on Sho’s waist. Sho extended his finger to caress that beautiful face; he removed Jun’s bangs from his forehead and leaned closer to land a kiss on Jun’s temple.
“Sho,” Jun groaned as he opened one of his eyes.
“Sorry, I wake you up,” Sho whispered.
Jun leaned closer to the crook of his neck, “Jetlag effect again?” Jun asked.
“I guess,” Sho brushed Jun’s hair and inhaled the pleasant scent of his shampoo, “go back to sleep,” he said.
“You too.”
“I need a glass of whiskey,” Sho mumbled.
He slowly freed himself from Jun and climbed down the bed. He opened the door and stepped towards the dining room, switched on the lamp and took a bottle of whiskey from the cupboard. He sat down at the chair and sipped the drink, letting the warmth filled his body.
“Can I join?” Jun’s figure appeared from the bedroom; he closed the door behind him and walked towards Sho. His oversized pajamas covered his well-built body and Sho could see the white chest underneath it since Jun loosened the buttons on purpose.
“Come here,” Sho welcomed him and pulled Jun onto his lap.
“I’m heavy, Sho,” Jun chuckled.
“It’s been a while since the last time we did it,” Sho kissed the back of Jun’s neck and let him drink his whiskey.
“You’ll be all sleepy tomorrow morning and having a bad mood all day,” Sho said.
“Yeah, and I’ll blame you for that,” Jun mumbled.
“You’re cute when you’re in a bad mood,” Sho leaned closer and caught Jun’s lips, he couldn’t count how many times he had kissed those tempting lips and amazed that he never got bored.
“But you’re not,” Jun mumbled, “I’m going to work until late tomorrow and perhaps have no time to cuddle you.”
“I’m getting used to it,” Sho said.
“Are you going on another trip abroad this month?”
Sho drank another sip of the whiskey and shrugged, “I don’t know, the management always decides at the last minute, and by the way, you are indeed heavy.”
He gained a soft smack from Jun who stood immediately and dragged Sho’s wrist to come back to their bedroom.
“I still can’t sleep,” Sho protested.
“I’ll make you sleep,” Jun answered and winked at him.
He held Jun’s tightly as they came back to the warmth of their bed, Sho knew that Jun did it on purpose, he couldn’t say it verbally that he missed Sho or he wanted Sho to cuddle him. Going abroad for two weeks was long enough for them to be apart and Jun must have missed their time together. He brushed Jun’s hair in the way he liked the most and it didn’t need a long time for Jun to sleep soundly, meanwhile Sho’s eyes were completely wide opened. He lowered his head and gave Jun a kiss on his cheek.
“Sleep tight, my love,” he whispered.
