We'll just ignore the fact that I conveniently skipped Weeks 1-2. But if we must, here's a summary: we contacted lots of tech companies to feature them on
our awesome show (for free!). Lots of lovely people said yes; some people apparently don't want free advertisement and are ignoring our messages. The number of Post-Its stuck to my monitor grew exponentially. We took on two interns who are so great that I can't bring myself to exploit them. We got a ginormous new printer. Speaking of which:
This is Darth Rasputin. In the one week he's been in the office, he's somehow become the place where we keep our cookies. So even though setting him up caused a day-long headache, he is the keeper of the sweets, so he's not all that bad.
At the moment, I'm alone in the office, as neither interns nor my other co-worker are in on Friday, and everyone else is out filming a segment for the show. I've been left to hold down the fort, which is fine because it's nice and quiet here, and my officemates gave me
Diddy Riese cookies.
Now to ride out the last couple of hours of the week leisurely answering e-mails and trying not to succumb to the black hole of time that is Google Reader or engaging any of my friends in Hunger Games or Parks and Rec talk. But oh, how tempting any of those options are compared to my inbox.
