I managed to get myself and the girls to and from Las Vegas in one piece, even if I did threaten bodily harm on practically each of them at various points during the weekend out of sheer annoyance. That's a story for another time, though. In short, it was a blast despite my exhaustion and fierce PMS'ing.
I will, however, say that one of my favorite moments of the weekend was when everyone was wandering around the suite, slowly getting drunk. Susan, who apparently had more to drink than I thought, sat down next to me at the counter where I had my head down and exclaimed, "Why isn't everyone else drunk?! Roda's drunk, but she's acting normally. She doesn't count!"
For the record, I wasn't drunk. Unable to walk without leaning onto something, maybe, but that was mostly the exhaustion from driving. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the last of my 6-straight days off by sitting under a mound of blankets with a cup of tea and a good fic. And when my Torchwood d/l finishes, I will immerse myself in its cracky goodness. Good times.
