I'll be going to this on Wednesday. It sounds interesting because a common complaint is the visual/public kink scene is populated with "dinosaurs", (Don't worry Hon, you don't count).
BIO is coproducing it, helping with the workshops and all ;)

“The Next Generation” Meet-N-Greet
November 9th, 7-9 pm
UBC Student Union Building Rm 215
Come out and meet other ‘kink’ friendly people! Learn about the scene in Vancouver, find out about upcoming workshops, ask questions, and organize groups for upcoming events. Everybody welcome. A non-judgmental, inclusive environment, open to any curious or experienced straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered young people. Street clothing please.
An introduction to a series of bi-weekly meetings beginning November 23rd involving workshops focused specific areas of ‘kink’ and socializing. Please email kinkUBC@gmail.com for further info or with any questions.
Upcoming Workshop include: Erotic Vancouver, S/M 101, Negotiation, Bondage on a Budget, Cross-Dressing, Alternative Safe Sex, Polyamoury, and Sex and the Law. We’re very open to feedback so if there is anything else you’re interested in learning about please let us know.
