Virtual Insanity...
I finally got to drive a bit around St Paul by myself. Well I had Olive with me, but I doubt a 8-9 week old kitten would do much harm. I got to take Olive to the vet. Well that was tough. My poor little kitty had a rough day. She had to get blood taken to check for feline leukemia. Then she got weighed (she weighs 2lbs). The vet said that she is super healthy. So yay! She has to go back in 4 weeks to get her rabies shot. The entire time we were waiting in the exam room, everytime there was a noise, Olive would go and run between my legs. I think she's a definite momma's baby. Even with Jason..she likes to sleep on my pillow at night. She likes to curl up on my lap on the couch. Even today when I was cooking dinner (I made chicken parmesan thank you very much) and Jason was in the kitchen spanking my butt, Olive came running out and started meowing at him.
I talked to my sister Jenny tonight. We were on the phone and watching Summerland together.
I discovered the best distraction for kittens. The Finding Nemo virtual aquarium. Olive likes to try and bat at the fish. Then when they seem to swim off the screen, she'll go to the other side of the tv and try and find them.
Things with Jason are going pretty good. He's been getting up at 5:30 in the mornings lately and so he's always tired by 9:30..and Im not even tired yet. We havent really done much intimately it seems. I was getting adjusted to living here and he's getting up early...it sort of sucks. But I am hoping to get some type of action soon.
Saturday is Jason's cousin's wedding. Im looking forward to that. Jason and I have never danced together. Im really looking forward to that.
