Ha ha, Hope. I saw this on JJB. I'm sure you've seen it before
http://p071.ezboard.com/fjjboardpictures.showMessage?topicID=36140.topic Anyway, the PCAT wasn't so bad at all. In fact, they recycled some of the same questions as from last time! I just really hope I did well enough to convince the pharm schools I applied to to at least give me an interview. I hope I hope I hope.
Thanks to Kiki, Betsy, and Hope for wishing me luck in my last entry!! sorry about the frog story.
My friends and family are so cute. My family is all worried about me ... this means my mom, dad, grandma, uncle. My brother called my mom and told me good luck. And it's just so great to me that my friends were concerned how it went for me. I don't know why. Maybe becase I talked about it all the time. Or maybe it's because some of them know exactly what I was going through. Taking the MCAT and all. Although they've already gotten their interviews and one is already accepted but he wants to enroll in some airforce health program. I wish him the best with that.
Anyway, sibs drove me absolutely crazy on the way out of KC and into Manhattan. Got a call from one of my guy friends (the one already accepted in med school ... I really should type out their names, but I don't want to.) asking me how it went and his housemate (okay, I'm friends with most of his housemates, too) told me she wanted to wish me luck but forgot and asked me how it went. They then invited me to go out to dinner with them when I got back into town.
Came back into town, changed super fast, and went to Buffalo Wild Wings. I had mozzerella (sp?) sticks and a diet coke. At our table, you see a circle of beers just to be interrupted with a coke. And a sprite next to me actually. We also played a little trivia. Those folks are such trivia gluttons. I love it! They do a trivia game every wednesday and they're all like "you're coming to trivia with us when you're turning 21, right?" Oh hell yeah.
My friend, the one I've been mentioning in this passage suggested the cutest thing for my birthday. But I won't say it here as to jinx it. Because it's a little corny but I think it's sweet.
Then we went back to the house where most everyone lived. Sat around and talked. I was the only one who didn't drink and drove mostly everyone to the bars. Which didn't suck or anything because then I went with another girl who lives int he house to Blockbuster to get "Saved". Then we went to my other guy friend's place just to hang out ... oh, and he made some toffee stuff he had offered earlier ... he was watching his tennis and she and I were reminiscing about stuff like prom.
It was so fun!!!
I'm just glad the PCAT is over! I need to do my calc homework.
