yo it's 2010 ya'll
hello internet friends and fiends.
i have decided that 2010 is my year for exploration and experimentation with a focus towards getting my career started.

i've applied to Calarts and i've never spent so much time dedicated towards something i want. i was able to meet the rigorous portfolio requirements and i believe it's the first time i've ever felt that i gave it the best i could. my biggest weakness was that i never took a life drawing class before. so i drew a lot of nakey people to come up with some quality pieces. i feel confident about my work i submitted and i think i will stand out.

i'll know when i get accepted by april 1st. so until then i've planned some goals to keep me occupied.
continue my art makin' machine process
sell my art. through sites, artwalks. see if my art is marketable.
continue doing stand up. go to open mics.
work with flash. make some cartoons.
clean my computer. holy 8 GBS free batman.
organize and put photos in albums.
i got really into animating in flash and this is from my huge choose your own adventure game. it was done all frame by frame and took me ages. it's not finished only because i have to solve some code issues. ugh. but at least for now i can share some scenes.

so i dedicated the first week of the new year to hang out and reconnect with some friends that i've ignored during my portfolio process. i'll share my adventures in posts.
Dollar stores provide so many jokes.
at the rare and almost extinct arcade i saw many wonders.
i watched this girl shred on guitar hero.
i also watched this guy combo in ddr.
