So apparently mom tried to burn down the trailer tonight.
Silly mom.
Anyway, in order to not have a burny down home, the only fuses on are that of the computer/tv in my room, and the outside light. My mom loves me. =)
Yeah, so all this happened while I was out at Marley's tonight.
My friend Rusty, whom I know from the good ol' days of Lights Out, sneaking into bars at 15, and generally being more into the local music scene than I have been lately, his band was playing, and I didn't go the last time they were, so I went tonight.
I had a blast.
There was this super old super drunk guy who was dancing...Huffman got some good video of it, hopefully he puts it up on myspace like he said he would. HILARIOUS. *shudder* Apparently he talked to Brooke, Mandee and Kelli while I was watching the band, and they gave him fake names. I missed out, but chose Veronica as my back-up in case he asked.
He never did.
Bands were good, the other band that was there was called Banger, and they're comprised of the lead singer of Supafuzz and his wife, lead singer of Devil May Care, and some other guys I don't know. They were really awesome, the switching off on vocals was really cool...they both have great voices. And Rusty's band Earth to Eros was good, it was surprisingly poppy and I told him so. If I didn't hate Marley's so much I'd see them more often.
Then I got to hang out with Huffman and a friend of his who I kissed like...5 years ago, and haven't seen him since pretty much that night. Strange, the people you will run into in Huntington. And I got hit on some which is always an ego boost, especially since I've been dealing with some...Tiger Beats, as Zach(ary) Evans would call them, of late. I've been really sad and emo since...Thursday, and it was nice to just laugh and have fun.
Tomorrow, Lisa and Jen are joining me for bowling. I'm really looking forward to it for two reasons. 1) I never see Jen anymore and I only see Lisa at the mall. 2) I will probably win all the games. And that never happens with the boys.
Well, that's my update I guess. No wait! One more thing!
Because I know he loves reading his name here, I've been talking to Doug "Maverick" Brofman a lot lately. Very few of you will actually remember him as the lead singer of a little band I was obsessed with back in the day called Spenser. We used to talk then, too, online and usually later at night, with the both of us being awesome and witty, they were always good talks. I'm glad he's entered my life again, even though because he's in California, I wind up talking to him until like 7am and it's really cost me a lot of sleep this week. So worth it though.
Okay, that's really all now. More when it happens, and I feel moved to actually write about it here.
