Kagrra, Live in Cologne [23.08.2008]
Okay… So, here is my report for the Kagrra, sign session and Concert in Germany. There were non for Finland, Sweden or Holland, were there? I couldn’t find any ;_; So if there are people like me who love to read reports… here’s one for you XD
And I still don’t know how to start… I mean, I don’t want to make it too long, but I know it’ll be long, since I finally got the Setlist in the right order and have to say something to every single song.
Every single one.
But let’s start with Friday … the sign session.
Huh…. Just, oh, well…. Huuuuuh >_<” I arrived in Cologne at about 3pm and went to the Saturn alone where I first met some people like Kurai-chan and of course my lovely Poki and Pheo and Susa <3 Girls, I was really happy to see you finally again and to spend some time with you guys!!!!!! ^^
Shortly after that blazingeternity (my adorable Lia <3), Lysl and Lea arrived there as well and we spend the last hour to wait for Kagrra, together with talking about them, looking at stuff and eating those oishii Naobonbons XD (Haichuuuuuu? What are they written like?!) However…
Then.. at 5pm everything started and Kagrra, were announced and a moment later I saw them walking down the path to the desk.
It was Shin first, then Naoki, then Isshi, Izumi and Akiya. They were dressed casually and they all looked great. Isshi’s hair~ Awww… so beautiful. But.. okay, I’ll do it in order.
So, the first one was Akiya. As for me he seemed a little shy. I’m not sure if he was for everyone, but I think so.. all the other’s I’ve asked said it as well. He seemed unsure what to do somehow. It was just like signing, smiling, saying thank you and giving the pamphlet back (I decided for the Various Fireworks Tour pamphlet after all ^^). But… his hair wasn’t styled that much and it seemed so smooth. His face seemed wider in reality than it seems in video clips, if you’d ask me XD But still… such a beautiful man and I need to say for me Akiya has perfect lips. I love, love, love his mouth. Oh, and his arms… they don’t just look so really cool in that photo shoot for Uzu.
Then Izumi. He was so quiet as well. But it was different from Akiya. He seemed to be so.. disinterested in everything. He probably was pretty tired or something, but still… I opened the page with his photo and gave it to him to sign it and he made a surprised noise at the pamphlet like he would not have expected to see it that day (But I saw at least one other girl who brought it.. I guess a lot of people overseas have that pamphlet ^^). He just signed his photo, closed the pamphlet and gave it back to me with both his hands. That was cute. But he didn’t really smile at all. Well, it was probably just me, who knows? But he looked really good. He lost weight, as we already noticed, huh? And I need to say that he really has a pretty pair of eyes. Also, his hair was looking so smooth, just as Akiya’s!!! Awww~
Third one was Isshi. Okay, first thing I need to admit is: while he was writing down at his photo I looked at Naoki, who sat next to him ^^;;; I’m sorry, Isshi-sama!!! Nao didn’t have to do anything and just painted his finger nails with his silver pen….. no comment on that. Yeah, I’ve wanted to talk about Isshi, didn’t I?! Did I mention his hair? It was so shiny and didn’t seem as smooth as Akiya’s and Izumi’s, but somehow just so… styled. It seemed like it wouldn’t move no matter how much wind there was XD And OH MY F*CKING GOD!!! He wore it, he wore it!!!!!! The Vivienne Westwood Shirt. Oh, YES!!!!! You all know he looks so damn sexy in that certain shirt XD Isshi said Hello to me by the way, what Akiya and Izumi didn’t do (They just nodded). And he gave me a bright smile, just one of those Isshi smiles we all love so much (I guess everyone got that smile and died because of it ^^). And then he gave me his hand to shake mine and I said Arigatou (what was quite hard facing such a… Isshi smile XD) and he said Thank you (actually in English, what sounded really good ^^). Then he passed my pamphlet to Naoki and I went on that one step to stand in front of ….. him.
Okay. Ah, I’ve wanted to make this short, didn’t I?! But yeah, that’s impossible. I mean… we’re talking about Naoki. First of all he looked at the pamphlet and then up to me again like “Do you seriously want me to sign on Isshi’s page?” So I was like “Ah, wait a moment >.<” and looked up his page to give it to him, so he could sign it. My heart was beating so fast and I guess I was about to faint, but I pulled myself together and did what I had been planning to do since they’ve announced they’d come back. Well, I’ve been telling you I prepared something…. Actually, I got him a T-Shirt. Because you all know he’s the one wearing the Shirts with stupid sayings on it. So I made this for him:
While he wrote his autograph I held it in front of him and said out loud: “Toddiiiiieeeeng!!!” So Nao raised his head while he answered me with a “Toddiiiieng!” which ended in a “Wooooah!”. He was so cute, pointed at it and laughed. I turned it around and said: “Say YES!” and … Isshi was the one who said “Yes” first, but then Nao said it as well and laughed again. He seemed quite unbelieving as I gave him the shirt, like “Oh, is that really for me?” …. No comment on that. However, I bowed and said Thank you in Japanese, but this time as polite as possible and received a cute “Danke scheeeen” and he gave me his hand.
By the way he wore his hair open and it was that curly and fuzzy as always. Just… Naoki as I like him the most <3
Okay, the last one was Shin. Nao had just passed the pamphlet to him as well and he, just as Nao, looked at me to look up his page. Argh XD But this time I unfortunately didn’t find it that quickly ^^; I’ve searched for it and somehow the page didn’t seem to be there…. As I finally found it, Shin gave me one of his calm smiles before he signed and nodded friendly as I said Thank you and bowed. And then… then I did the worst thing ever… I gave him my hand. Mistake, Shai-chan, horrible mistake. Of course he took it, but… arrrrgh. But let’s not hink about that anymore. I already died because of that a hundred times >_<” Shin wore his turquoise Shirt he also wore for that showtime comment, you know? It looked pretty good on him and I like his hair cut. It seemed so short in their last KnS, but on Friday it didn’t seem that short. His smile is just…. Well, I’ve wanted to see it over and over again.
We weren’t forced to leave, so we stayed until the very end (Lia, Lea, Lysl and me ^^) to just stare at them XD I waved at them quite often, but they didn’t see it. Except for Shin who seemed pretty bored sometimes, whenever he had nothing to do and just looked around. So he saw me waving at him and …. I saw his smile again <3 Such a cute smile…
By the way, talking about Shin. There was a girl who really forgot about him. After Nao had signed her flyer she just went away. I could see that she noticed it as well as she’s been on her way to her friends and didn’t dare to go back. I really wonder what Shin thought in that moment XD Also… Lia told me he said “Einen Moment” to her (which means “one moment”) and she said he said it without and accent. I think that’s really cute. He’s learning German <3
Well… I think that was about everything for the sign session. … Nao was flirting a lot and I need to say I was soooo happy as he twinkled at me when he shook my hand, but afterwards I’ve noticed he winked at everyone. Even at the guys. … he was flirting a lot. Whenever someone screamed he turned around and waved and made some signs and stuff. Just typically him.
Okay, so I’ll start with my Concert report now.
This will turn out very long as well, because… I mean… you know I always remember those small details no one really wants to know. But for me they’re so important.
A girl said to me yesterday that she couldn’t understand all those fangirls, because she came there for the music but not to look at the boys. And yes, of course, the music is important. Most important, but I need to admit to me it was also important to see the boys. Because they are so very important to me and mean a lot to me I needed to see them while they were playing their beautiful music.
However.. I won’t talk that much about the time before the concert, it was a whole mess. The only thing I want to say it a big THANK YOU to Susa in first place and then to Poki and Pheo of course for thinking of me. And also…. Awww~ I’ve got to meet lesyeuxjaunes!!!!! Kyaaaaa! It’s not like I was fangirling over her… *caughes*… but, actually, I am XD!!!!! She is so smart and cool and I’d have never thought to meet her in person. I’m such a child, but she was very nice to me! I just wish my English was a little better ^^;
So yeah, I came in pretty early, one of the first ones and stood in the first row between Pheo and Lia just in front of Naoki and Shinpei.
Kya.
I know Lea stood just behind Lia and me and I could also see Rizu (by the way… may I say it’s quite confusing that you two are Lea and Lia? I’ve just noticed that now that I wrote your names O_o”).
Okay, before I start now I need to say I’m not that sure about the set list. Well, I’m pretty sure about the songs, but not for the order. But only for the middle part. Up to Kamikaze and from Genei no Katachi I’m pretty sure, but everything between could have been another order. I’m sorry for that, but I’m about 80% sure it’s right.
So yeah, the concert started with the Miyako Intro just like in their Sara DVD *squeal*
Izumi came in first. He wore his complete Uzu outfit, not much makeup, his hair was just a little styled, so that it looked fluffy XD and smooth of course!!! XD He waved at us and directly went to his drums.
The next one was Shin and… oh my God. He came on stage and went right to the front and screamed with us O_o …. EH? Shin-chan? Shy, cute, little Shin?! He was so cool. He jumped to his guitar, wearing grey trousers with darker grey stripes on it and the shirt of his Uzu outfit and a lot of necklaces. His shoes were already quite interesting. It was a pair of flip flops with thick soles and heels. But he could run and jump on it very well.
After that the one and only Charisma Bassist came on stage and he went up to Isshi’s podest and … you know this gesture Nao always does. He was raising his fists and animated us to scream. He wore not much of his outfit for Uzu. Probably just the shirt, because over that he wore some other kind of black shirt, not his poncho (fortunately XD) and normal Jeans, two scarfs around his hips (one in black with white patterns and the other one in white with black patterns) and normal Flip Flops. Nao has really interesting feet, but that is my secret and I won’t talk about how cute I thought his feet were XD He had put some of his hair to a plait like in the photo shooting and on his right side he had a thin band in brown (like his hair) with some feathers hanging on it.
Then Akiya came on stage and he was sooooooo cute. He went to the front as well and waved at everybody, smiled a lot and prepared his guitar then. I think he wore the whole Uzu Outfit as well. He wore two trousers. One that ended underneath his knees and one that was a little wider and ended above his knees. The one he wore beneath was black the other one brown. His hair was styled like in the photos and what was most interesting about him were his shoes. They were boots actually, but then again at his heels and his toes they were open. It looked quite funny. Ooooh, Aki-chii, you’re so cool <3
It took a while but then Isshi entered the stage as well and…. This man is so damn impressive. He was wearing makeup and his hair was backcombed and he wore his Uzu outfit as well, but had put on a beautiful red and white Kimono over it and left it open. He looked so beautiful. He of course went up on his podest and enjoyed the screams and all that for a moment, before he got to Izumi’s drums, picked up his Fan and then took his microphone to scream “Germany!”.
With that Kotodama started and everyone was waving with their fans just in the way Isshi did. All members came to the front of the stage and I guess the first thing I actually noticed was that Nao was licking his lips… like every three seconds. He’s the fish, he really is. So, after a few moments everyone went back to their places and I saw Shin just in front of us, looking into the crowd and animating everybody to move. He himself was so restless somehow, moving, running, jumping… showing his feelings!!! Awww~ he really brought his feelings!!! I was so happy to see him like that. I need to say it was surprising they actually opened the concert with that song, by the way. It’s untypically. But it was fun and of course one of the songs I was hoping for. And I made Nao looking at me for a moment and he winked at me what made me sooooo happy (Well, at least I think that one was for me, I didn’t manage to make him look at me again then….)
So, they played the next song to use the fans right after that: Shigatsu Tsuitachi. Isshi got rid of the beautiful red Kimono and we could see those cool patterns, the fake tattoo, on his arm. Izumi was pretty calm; he just watched everything with a slight smile on his face. I’m not sure how to interpret it, really. He looked at Naoki for a short moment as he came and turned to him. In the middle of the song Akiya, Nao and Shin switched places, so Aki came to our side and I used that moment to have a closer look at his shoes XD But only for a short moment of course, then I focused on him again. He remained there for just a short moment and then went back. Nao came back to our side first, then Shin.
After that song Isshi turned around and got a sheet of paper and already laughed when he turned to us again, because everyone was like “Awww~” XD He was so cute. So he asked in German whether we had fun and that they want us to have fun and that the next song would be Guilty.
And of course that was a lot of fun. Shin was head banging (where I could see that his hair beneath the blonde is absolutely short and still black. Seems like he shaved it before and now it’s growing again… that looks so cool, I think. I didn’t know that~)!!!! And Isshi as well, of course. He shouted and jumped and made us all move as well. Akiya and Nao didn’t move that much, they were more calm, like moving their heads a little and being both just all cool. Nao slapped his bass a lot in that one, what made him look even cooler XD
Then Isshi asked again whether we had fun and that we’d have a lot of fun now. I’m not sure what else he said, because just then I’ve noticed Nao drinking from his bottle, that had a straw and then giving it to Shin. WTF?! They were drinking from the same bottle? Shin gave it back to Nao then who just nipped at it one more time and then they got ready for the next song, which was Sai.
I didn’t bring a towel; I simply forgot. I was hoping to get one there, but of course they didn’t sell them. Akiya went next to Isshi and they were jumping together. For some parts Shin had nothing to do, so he used that time to make sure everyone was moving with them to the song. For his short Bass solo Nao came to the front of the stage and he was like… awww, he tilted his head back and licked his lips while playing.
Right after that, they played Kamikaze. Another Up-tempo one. And, and, and….. I’m so sorry to mention it again, but… it started with a cool Bass intro and. Nao watched the crowed while playing it and then got almost to his knees, tilting his head back again and… well, he doesn’t have to do that much to get me excited. While they played the second verse of the song, Isshi put his arm around Nao and they sang it together, but after a while Nao couldn’t sing and play at the same time anymore and so Isshi just patted Naoki’s shoulder and left him alone again (With that they broke down my wonderful feelings from seeing Nao and Shin sharing the water bottle..).
Then it was time for Isshi to talk to us again (we all know Isshi likes to talk to the audience XD). He told us they were going to play their new single now and so they started it right away.
Uzu is such a beautiful song!!!!!! Shin’s playing the Koto and it’s different from Utakata and such, somehow. I could see him playing the Koto this time very well and it looks just amazing how he’s doing it. So damn cool. Shin’s doing the back vocals for this song, and I’m still convinced that he can sing pretty well. But it was very quiet, I almost didn’t hear him. To the end of the song, Nao and Isshi almost got down on their knees and Akiya seemed pretty concentrated, so he didn’t move that much. But sometimes he looked at the audience. Still, Izumi didn’t do much more than to smile his mysterious smile. The song ends with only Shin playing the Koto, what was just so cool. I can’t describe it at, it just looks and sounds so amazing.
Okay…. Now I come to a part that I don’t really want to remember, but… for your sake I will write it down…. Just to let you all know, I really love Nao, but sometimes… argh.
So, Isshi said nothing more than “This is our Baseman, Nao.”
And then Nao’s stage play began. He turned around and looked at the audience all confused like “Oh, do you mean me?” He leaned in to his mic, stared at us, laughed nervously and then bended to pick up a sheet of paper, acting all like “Ah, sorry, I forgot, but I prepared something of course.”
So, he had a short look at the paper and acted as if he thought his bass guitar would fall down as he didn’t hold it anymore and realized than that it can’t fall down of course. He again nervously laughed and then raised his thump and said “Super”. Everyone screamed. I need to admit, his whole MC I didn’t say a single word or even moved. I just stood there, staring at him and grinned. After everyone was quiet again, he asked whether we had fun. Screams. Then, he licked his lips, grinned and took some time before he asked in English: “Do you think I’m sexy?” Screams. Then: “Do you want me?” Screams again. He laughed a lot and everyone else on stage ignored him except for Shin who threw him some critical looks. So Nao just said: “You have me.” And as everyone was screaming again, he said “Super” once again and “Danke schön.”
Tssssss… I won’t comment on that farce.
However, as Nao was ready Isshi said they’d play a very important and one of their favourite songs now and he wants us to sing along. So, that had to be Utakata.
Akiya was playing his acoustic guitar, so he couldn’t so that much, but they were all singing along, even Izumi for this time. Nao did some of the back vocals, but I noticed him singing along nearly every song, as well as Shin-chan. Of course every one of us was singing along as well, which sounded very beautiful and hopefully made the boys happy. Nao went up to Shin and stood next to him and for a while they played together, but then Shin had to move back to his Koto. I’ve noticed a lot of people crying and I guess Akiya saw some people crying as well, because I could see him moving his head and looking like he was about to say “Oh, dear, don’t cry!”. But… it was probably just my imagination.
After that Isshi said something short again, I’m not too sure what and they played Nue no naku koro. What a beautiful song, isn’t it? I love to move along to Isshi’s moves and to sing it along (actually, I sang along everything, but that’s just normal at a concert, isn’t it?). So… I mostly focused on Isshi for that song, I just watched the other boys a few times, but except for their guitar soli there wasn’t that much to do for them. They just calmed down somehow and concentrated on their instruments. But Isshi was happy to see us joining his moves.
I guess, it was the same for Yousai. I really don’t know what to say about those songs, it was just beautiful to watch and to take part in it and… yeah, of course the song itself is so damn great.
I guess, Isshi somehow messed up his MCs. Because after that he said they are a classical Japanese band and that they were going to play some of their first songs now. What followed was Genei no katachi (So, I think, he wanted to say that before they played Nue no naku koro and Yousai, because those are much older than the ones that followed). As the song started I was so reminded of their Sara live. It was just… everyone of them jumping to the front of the stage, Akiya was leaning his back on Isshi and they all animated the crowd to have some fun. Akiya came to our side again and this time for a little longer, so we waved at him and everyone started to scream, because for the other side they were excited because of Nao and Shin. Akiya made sure everyone was moving along and then went back to his side again.
After that they played Shin・Hyakkiyakou and everyone got back to his place and they were pretty calm again, focusing on their instruments. But for us it was a good song to move to the rhythm and such. It’s so cool, I really like it a lot.
The next one then was Byokyaku no Hate no Kogoeta no Kodoku. I’ll never learn to remember that title. It’s such a beautiful song and I sang it along, of course and Isshi’s voice was just… awww, sou beautiful. It’s one of those songs that make it even more obvious to me. I focused on Izumi for a while, but he just looked around and watched Akiya for a while, I guess, and then he looked at his drums again.
Isshi then told us that the next song would be the last one and everyone was like “Ohhh, no, please, noooo!” But Isshi just said again that it’s the last one. It somehow was like Isshi-sama has spoken, so don’t contradict. Hihi.
So, of course that song was Urei. Isshi made us singing it with him and repeating the lines- I was afraid he wouldn’t, but he let us and it went quite well. People sang along and Isshi was happy. Of course they ran over the stage and switched places again and everyone was just like enjoying the last song and being happy and show how much fun Kagrra, really is ^^
As the last tone was played Shin really stumbled over to Nao and hugged him. Okay, Fangirl moment for me. AWWWW!!!! And the best thing was: Nao hugged him as well and laid his cheek on to Shin’s hair. Damn, that was way too much for my fangirlish heart XD
They just went from stage, everything remained dark and the audience started to shout “Encore”. Well, well…. May I say for a Kagrra, Concert they usually just shout for “Kagrra,” if they want an encore?... But okay, I won’t complain, it’s in Germany, not Japan, so “Encore” worked as well (Hihi, Nao appeared at the other side of the stage and made us, or at least the ones that could see him, clap their hands and shout louder for them… ^^). At least, after a long time they finally came back.
Just to tell us they were going to play Uzu again XD Izumi came back first, then Shin and Akiya, then Naoki and it took a while until Isshi came back and that fake tattoo was away. Shin and Nao were talking and Nao was touching Shin’s arm, as if something wasn’t okay with it, but Shin just took his bottle, drank something and then made Nao drink something as well from his bottle. I tell you… those two… that evening… I don’t know what was up, but they surely did a lot of things for me XD
Whatever, so they played Uzu once more and except for them being already much more exhausted than before, it somehow wasn't that different from the first time; it somehow seemed more desperate then. Isshi came to our side and suddenly he kneeled down just in front of us and I was singing along (as far as it was possible from the sample ^^) and I think he really looked at me, at least Lia said, she thinks he looked at me as well (Well, I stopped counting how often Shin was looking at her XD Hihihi). Possibly, I mean… I was just in front of him. But he stood up again and went to the other side then. Shin’s Koto ending was so cool again. Haaawww~
Second Encore was Kotodama. Yeah, I’m not sure why they decided to play both again, but… well, I was fine with it. Kotodama is fun XD We got our fans again and moved to the song with Isshi, it pretty much was like the first time and… yeah ^^
Okay, but then, something happened that made my heartbeat stop for a moment. Isshi really said they were going to play Sakura Maichuru ano oka de and that he wants us to sing along. Hahahaha, Isshi-sama, are you joking? I really doubted there were that many people who could sing that song. But of course that’s not why my heartbeat stopped… of course it is because I really, really thought I’d never ever see that one live with my own eyes. So, I started to sing along from the first line and we all stand pretty still and I was looking at Isshi, singing with him and when I turned my head to Naoki, I noticed that now he really was watching me and for that I’m pretty sure, because he smiled then and nodded and then started to sing along for himself. I was wondering whether they tried it in Finland or Sweden or in the Netherlands as well and if it went quite well, but when I came home today and read Akiya’s weblog he actually wrote that yesterday at our concert they tried it the first time. OH MY GOD.
I’m so glad it went quite well. It was not everybody singing the verse, but… more than I would have expected. At least they could hear us and they were happy we could sing it. I don’t even want to imagine what it would have been like if it had been just ten or twenty people singing along ^^;; So…. YES! ^_^
Well, after that the Untitled Bonus Track from Ouka Ranman played and they left the stage, waving at everyone, throwing towels, plecs and drumsticks. Isshi promised to come back and then he was the last one who left the stage.
The lights turned on again and everyone moved to the exit. We first bought some merchandise and I somehow just felt like crying, but again, I promised myself not to cry this time and I kept my promise. I didn’t.
Outside I met keimaxwell and we talked for a while. It was quite sad I couldn’t see her for a longer time. But I guess she came pretty late, so I didn’t see her before the concert.
Whatever, we spend the rest of the evening at Subways and were fangirling over Kagrra, and some other bands and… well, did a birthday video for Miyavi O_o” ..
It was so much fun to meet with everyone and I hope the day we meet again to see Kagrra, live will come again very soon.

I guess a lot of people overseas have that pamphlet ^^). He just signed his photo, closed the pamphlet and gave it back to me with both his hands. That was cute. But he didn’t really smile at all. Well, it was probably just me, who knows? But he looked really good. He lost weight, as we already noticed, huh? And I need to say that he really has a pretty pair of eyes. Also, his hair was looking so smooth, just as Akiya’s!!! Awww~
Third one was Isshi. Okay, first thing I need to admit is: while he was writing down at his photo I looked at Naoki, who sat next to him ^^;;; I’m sorry, Isshi-sama!!! Nao didn’t have to do anything and just painted his finger nails with his silver pen….. no comment on that. Yeah, I’ve wanted to talk about Isshi, didn’t I?! Did I mention his hair? It was so shiny and didn’t seem as smooth as Akiya’s and Izumi’s, but somehow just so… styled. It seemed like it wouldn’t move no matter how much wind there was XD And OH MY F*CKING GOD!!! He wore it, he wore it!!!!!! The Vivienne Westwood Shirt. Oh, YES!!!!! You all know he looks so damn sexy in that certain shirt XD Isshi said Hello to me by the way, what Akiya and Izumi didn’t do (They just nodded). And he gave me a bright smile, just one of those Isshi smiles we all love so much (I guess everyone got that smile and died because of it ^^). And then he gave me his hand to shake mine and I said Arigatou (what was quite hard facing such a… Isshi smile XD) and he said Thank you (actually in English, what sounded really good ^^). Then he passed my pamphlet to Naoki and I went on that one step to stand in front of ….. him.
Okay. Ah, I’ve wanted to make this short, didn’t I?! But yeah, that’s impossible. I mean… we’re talking about Naoki. First of all he looked at the pamphlet and then up to me again like “Do you seriously want me to sign on Isshi’s page?” So I was like “Ah, wait a moment >.<” and looked up his page to give it to him, so he could sign it. My heart was beating so fast and I guess I was about to faint, but I pulled myself together and did what I had been planning to do since they’ve announced they’d come back. Well, I’ve been telling you I prepared something…. Actually, I got him a T-Shirt. Because you all know he’s the one wearing the Shirts with stupid sayings on it. So I made this for him:
While he wrote his autograph I held it in front of him and said out loud: “Toddiiiiieeeeng!!!” So Nao raised his head while he answered me with a “Toddiiiieng!” which ended in a “Wooooah!”. He was so cute, pointed at it and laughed. I turned it around and said: “Say YES!” and … Isshi was the one who said “Yes” first, but then Nao said it as well and laughed again. He seemed quite unbelieving as I gave him the shirt, like “Oh, is that really for me?” …. No comment on that. However, I bowed and said Thank you in Japanese, but this time as polite as possible and received a cute “Danke scheeeen” and he gave me his hand.
By the way he wore his hair open and it was that curly and fuzzy as always. Just… Naoki as I like him the most <3
Okay, the last one was Shin. Nao had just passed the pamphlet to him as well and he, just as Nao, looked at me to look up his page. Argh XD But this time I unfortunately didn’t find it that quickly ^^; I’ve searched for it and somehow the page didn’t seem to be there…. As I finally found it, Shin gave me one of his calm smiles before he signed and nodded friendly as I said Thank you and bowed. And then… then I did the worst thing ever… I gave him my hand. Mistake, Shai-chan, horrible mistake. Of course he took it, but… arrrrgh. But let’s not hink about that anymore. I already died because of that a hundred times >_<” Shin wore his turquoise Shirt he also wore for that showtime comment, you know? It looked pretty good on him and I like his hair cut. It seemed so short in their last KnS, but on Friday it didn’t seem that short. His smile is just…. Well, I’ve wanted to see it over and over again.
We weren’t forced to leave, so we stayed until the very end (Lia, Lea, Lysl and me ^^) to just stare at them XD I waved at them quite often, but they didn’t see it. Except for Shin who seemed pretty bored sometimes, whenever he had nothing to do and just looked around. So he saw me waving at him and …. I saw his smile again <3 Such a cute smile…
By the way, talking about Shin. There was a girl who really forgot about him. After Nao had signed her flyer she just went away. I could see that she noticed it as well as she’s been on her way to her friends and didn’t dare to go back. I really wonder what Shin thought in that moment XD Also… Lia told me he said “Einen Moment” to her (which means “one moment”) and she said he said it without and accent. I think that’s really cute. He’s learning German <3
Well… I think that was about everything for the sign session. … Nao was flirting a lot and I need to say I was soooo happy as he twinkled at me when he shook my hand, but afterwards I’ve noticed he winked at everyone. Even at the guys. … he was flirting a lot. Whenever someone screamed he turned around and waved and made some signs and stuff. Just typically him.
Okay, so I’ll start with my Concert report now.
This will turn out very long as well, because… I mean… you know I always remember those small details no one really wants to know. But for me they’re so important.
A girl said to me yesterday that she couldn’t understand all those fangirls, because she came there for the music but not to look at the boys. And yes, of course, the music is important. Most important, but I need to admit to me it was also important to see the boys. Because they are so very important to me and mean a lot to me I needed to see them while they were playing their beautiful music.
However.. I won’t talk that much about the time before the concert, it was a whole mess. The only thing I want to say it a big THANK YOU to Susa in first place and then to Poki and Pheo of course for thinking of me. And also…. Awww~ I’ve got to meet lesyeuxjaunes!!!!! Kyaaaaa! It’s not like I was fangirling over her… *caughes*… but, actually, I am XD!!!!! She is so smart and cool and I’d have never thought to meet her in person. I’m such a child, but she was very nice to me! I just wish my English was a little better ^^;
So yeah, I came in pretty early, one of the first ones and stood in the first row between Pheo and Lia just in front of Naoki and Shinpei.

I know Lea stood just behind Lia and me and I could also see Rizu (by the way… may I say it’s quite confusing that you two are Lea and Lia? I’ve just noticed that now that I wrote your names O_o”).
Okay, before I start now I need to say I’m not that sure about the set list. Well, I’m pretty sure about the songs, but not for the order. But only for the middle part. Up to Kamikaze and from Genei no Katachi I’m pretty sure, but everything between could have been another order. I’m sorry for that, but I’m about 80% sure it’s right.
So yeah, the concert started with the Miyako Intro just like in their Sara DVD *squeal*
Izumi came in first. He wore his complete Uzu outfit, not much makeup, his hair was just a little styled, so that it looked fluffy XD and smooth of course!!! XD He waved at us and directly went to his drums.
The next one was Shin and… oh my God. He came on stage and went right to the front and screamed with us O_o …. EH? Shin-chan? Shy, cute, little Shin?! He was so cool. He jumped to his guitar, wearing grey trousers with darker grey stripes on it and the shirt of his Uzu outfit and a lot of necklaces. His shoes were already quite interesting. It was a pair of flip flops with thick soles and heels. But he could run and jump on it very well.
After that the one and only Charisma Bassist came on stage and he went up to Isshi’s podest and … you know this gesture Nao always does. He was raising his fists and animated us to scream. He wore not much of his outfit for Uzu. Probably just the shirt, because over that he wore some other kind of black shirt, not his poncho (fortunately XD) and normal Jeans, two scarfs around his hips (one in black with white patterns and the other one in white with black patterns) and normal Flip Flops. Nao has really interesting feet, but that is my secret and I won’t talk about how cute I thought his feet were XD He had put some of his hair to a plait like in the photo shooting and on his right side he had a thin band in brown (like his hair) with some feathers hanging on it.
Then Akiya came on stage and he was sooooooo cute. He went to the front as well and waved at everybody, smiled a lot and prepared his guitar then. I think he wore the whole Uzu Outfit as well. He wore two trousers. One that ended underneath his knees and one that was a little wider and ended above his knees. The one he wore beneath was black the other one brown. His hair was styled like in the photos and what was most interesting about him were his shoes. They were boots actually, but then again at his heels and his toes they were open. It looked quite funny. Ooooh, Aki-chii, you’re so cool <3
It took a while but then Isshi entered the stage as well and…. This man is so damn impressive. He was wearing makeup and his hair was backcombed and he wore his Uzu outfit as well, but had put on a beautiful red and white Kimono over it and left it open. He looked so beautiful. He of course went up on his podest and enjoyed the screams and all that for a moment, before he got to Izumi’s drums, picked up his Fan and then took his microphone to scream “Germany!”.
With that Kotodama started and everyone was waving with their fans just in the way Isshi did. All members came to the front of the stage and I guess the first thing I actually noticed was that Nao was licking his lips… like every three seconds. He’s the fish, he really is. So, after a few moments everyone went back to their places and I saw Shin just in front of us, looking into the crowd and animating everybody to move. He himself was so restless somehow, moving, running, jumping… showing his feelings!!! Awww~ he really brought his feelings!!! I was so happy to see him like that. I need to say it was surprising they actually opened the concert with that song, by the way. It’s untypically. But it was fun and of course one of the songs I was hoping for. And I made Nao looking at me for a moment and he winked at me what made me sooooo happy (Well, at least I think that one was for me, I didn’t manage to make him look at me again then….)
So, they played the next song to use the fans right after that: Shigatsu Tsuitachi. Isshi got rid of the beautiful red Kimono and we could see those cool patterns, the fake tattoo, on his arm. Izumi was pretty calm; he just watched everything with a slight smile on his face. I’m not sure how to interpret it, really. He looked at Naoki for a short moment as he came and turned to him. In the middle of the song Akiya, Nao and Shin switched places, so Aki came to our side and I used that moment to have a closer look at his shoes XD But only for a short moment of course, then I focused on him again. He remained there for just a short moment and then went back. Nao came back to our side first, then Shin.
After that song Isshi turned around and got a sheet of paper and already laughed when he turned to us again, because everyone was like “Awww~” XD He was so cute. So he asked in German whether we had fun and that they want us to have fun and that the next song would be Guilty.
And of course that was a lot of fun. Shin was head banging (where I could see that his hair beneath the blonde is absolutely short and still black. Seems like he shaved it before and now it’s growing again… that looks so cool, I think. I didn’t know that~)!!!! And Isshi as well, of course. He shouted and jumped and made us all move as well. Akiya and Nao didn’t move that much, they were more calm, like moving their heads a little and being both just all cool. Nao slapped his bass a lot in that one, what made him look even cooler XD
Then Isshi asked again whether we had fun and that we’d have a lot of fun now. I’m not sure what else he said, because just then I’ve noticed Nao drinking from his bottle, that had a straw and then giving it to Shin. WTF?! They were drinking from the same bottle? Shin gave it back to Nao then who just nipped at it one more time and then they got ready for the next song, which was Sai.
I didn’t bring a towel; I simply forgot. I was hoping to get one there, but of course they didn’t sell them. Akiya went next to Isshi and they were jumping together. For some parts Shin had nothing to do, so he used that time to make sure everyone was moving with them to the song. For his short Bass solo Nao came to the front of the stage and he was like… awww, he tilted his head back and licked his lips while playing.
Right after that, they played Kamikaze. Another Up-tempo one. And, and, and….. I’m so sorry to mention it again, but… it started with a cool Bass intro and. Nao watched the crowed while playing it and then got almost to his knees, tilting his head back again and… well, he doesn’t have to do that much to get me excited. While they played the second verse of the song, Isshi put his arm around Nao and they sang it together, but after a while Nao couldn’t sing and play at the same time anymore and so Isshi just patted Naoki’s shoulder and left him alone again (With that they broke down my wonderful feelings from seeing Nao and Shin sharing the water bottle..).
Then it was time for Isshi to talk to us again (we all know Isshi likes to talk to the audience XD). He told us they were going to play their new single now and so they started it right away.
Uzu is such a beautiful song!!!!!! Shin’s playing the Koto and it’s different from Utakata and such, somehow. I could see him playing the Koto this time very well and it looks just amazing how he’s doing it. So damn cool. Shin’s doing the back vocals for this song, and I’m still convinced that he can sing pretty well. But it was very quiet, I almost didn’t hear him. To the end of the song, Nao and Isshi almost got down on their knees and Akiya seemed pretty concentrated, so he didn’t move that much. But sometimes he looked at the audience. Still, Izumi didn’t do much more than to smile his mysterious smile. The song ends with only Shin playing the Koto, what was just so cool. I can’t describe it at, it just looks and sounds so amazing.
Okay…. Now I come to a part that I don’t really want to remember, but… for your sake I will write it down…. Just to let you all know, I really love Nao, but sometimes… argh.
So, Isshi said nothing more than “This is our Baseman, Nao.”
And then Nao’s stage play began. He turned around and looked at the audience all confused like “Oh, do you mean me?” He leaned in to his mic, stared at us, laughed nervously and then bended to pick up a sheet of paper, acting all like “Ah, sorry, I forgot, but I prepared something of course.”
So, he had a short look at the paper and acted as if he thought his bass guitar would fall down as he didn’t hold it anymore and realized than that it can’t fall down of course. He again nervously laughed and then raised his thump and said “Super”. Everyone screamed. I need to admit, his whole MC I didn’t say a single word or even moved. I just stood there, staring at him and grinned. After everyone was quiet again, he asked whether we had fun. Screams. Then, he licked his lips, grinned and took some time before he asked in English: “Do you think I’m sexy?” Screams. Then: “Do you want me?” Screams again. He laughed a lot and everyone else on stage ignored him except for Shin who threw him some critical looks. So Nao just said: “You have me.” And as everyone was screaming again, he said “Super” once again and “Danke schön.”
Tssssss… I won’t comment on that farce.
However, as Nao was ready Isshi said they’d play a very important and one of their favourite songs now and he wants us to sing along. So, that had to be Utakata.
Akiya was playing his acoustic guitar, so he couldn’t so that much, but they were all singing along, even Izumi for this time. Nao did some of the back vocals, but I noticed him singing along nearly every song, as well as Shin-chan. Of course every one of us was singing along as well, which sounded very beautiful and hopefully made the boys happy. Nao went up to Shin and stood next to him and for a while they played together, but then Shin had to move back to his Koto. I’ve noticed a lot of people crying and I guess Akiya saw some people crying as well, because I could see him moving his head and looking like he was about to say “Oh, dear, don’t cry!”. But… it was probably just my imagination.
After that Isshi said something short again, I’m not too sure what and they played Nue no naku koro. What a beautiful song, isn’t it? I love to move along to Isshi’s moves and to sing it along (actually, I sang along everything, but that’s just normal at a concert, isn’t it?). So… I mostly focused on Isshi for that song, I just watched the other boys a few times, but except for their guitar soli there wasn’t that much to do for them. They just calmed down somehow and concentrated on their instruments. But Isshi was happy to see us joining his moves.
I guess, it was the same for Yousai. I really don’t know what to say about those songs, it was just beautiful to watch and to take part in it and… yeah, of course the song itself is so damn great.
I guess, Isshi somehow messed up his MCs. Because after that he said they are a classical Japanese band and that they were going to play some of their first songs now. What followed was Genei no katachi (So, I think, he wanted to say that before they played Nue no naku koro and Yousai, because those are much older than the ones that followed). As the song started I was so reminded of their Sara live. It was just… everyone of them jumping to the front of the stage, Akiya was leaning his back on Isshi and they all animated the crowd to have some fun. Akiya came to our side again and this time for a little longer, so we waved at him and everyone started to scream, because for the other side they were excited because of Nao and Shin. Akiya made sure everyone was moving along and then went back to his side again.
After that they played Shin・Hyakkiyakou and everyone got back to his place and they were pretty calm again, focusing on their instruments. But for us it was a good song to move to the rhythm and such. It’s so cool, I really like it a lot.
The next one then was Byokyaku no Hate no Kogoeta no Kodoku. I’ll never learn to remember that title. It’s such a beautiful song and I sang it along, of course and Isshi’s voice was just… awww, sou beautiful. It’s one of those songs that make it even more obvious to me. I focused on Izumi for a while, but he just looked around and watched Akiya for a while, I guess, and then he looked at his drums again.
Isshi then told us that the next song would be the last one and everyone was like “Ohhh, no, please, noooo!” But Isshi just said again that it’s the last one. It somehow was like Isshi-sama has spoken, so don’t contradict. Hihi.
So, of course that song was Urei. Isshi made us singing it with him and repeating the lines- I was afraid he wouldn’t, but he let us and it went quite well. People sang along and Isshi was happy. Of course they ran over the stage and switched places again and everyone was just like enjoying the last song and being happy and show how much fun Kagrra, really is ^^
As the last tone was played Shin really stumbled over to Nao and hugged him. Okay, Fangirl moment for me. AWWWW!!!! And the best thing was: Nao hugged him as well and laid his cheek on to Shin’s hair. Damn, that was way too much for my fangirlish heart XD
They just went from stage, everything remained dark and the audience started to shout “Encore”. Well, well…. May I say for a Kagrra, Concert they usually just shout for “Kagrra,” if they want an encore?... But okay, I won’t complain, it’s in Germany, not Japan, so “Encore” worked as well (Hihi, Nao appeared at the other side of the stage and made us, or at least the ones that could see him, clap their hands and shout louder for them… ^^). At least, after a long time they finally came back.
Just to tell us they were going to play Uzu again XD Izumi came back first, then Shin and Akiya, then Naoki and it took a while until Isshi came back and that fake tattoo was away. Shin and Nao were talking and Nao was touching Shin’s arm, as if something wasn’t okay with it, but Shin just took his bottle, drank something and then made Nao drink something as well from his bottle. I tell you… those two… that evening… I don’t know what was up, but they surely did a lot of things for me XD
Whatever, so they played Uzu once more and except for them being already much more exhausted than before, it somehow wasn't that different from the first time; it somehow seemed more desperate then. Isshi came to our side and suddenly he kneeled down just in front of us and I was singing along (as far as it was possible from the sample ^^) and I think he really looked at me, at least Lia said, she thinks he looked at me as well (Well, I stopped counting how often Shin was looking at her XD Hihihi). Possibly, I mean… I was just in front of him. But he stood up again and went to the other side then. Shin’s Koto ending was so cool again. Haaawww~
Second Encore was Kotodama. Yeah, I’m not sure why they decided to play both again, but… well, I was fine with it. Kotodama is fun XD We got our fans again and moved to the song with Isshi, it pretty much was like the first time and… yeah ^^
Okay, but then, something happened that made my heartbeat stop for a moment. Isshi really said they were going to play Sakura Maichuru ano oka de and that he wants us to sing along. Hahahaha, Isshi-sama, are you joking? I really doubted there were that many people who could sing that song. But of course that’s not why my heartbeat stopped… of course it is because I really, really thought I’d never ever see that one live with my own eyes. So, I started to sing along from the first line and we all stand pretty still and I was looking at Isshi, singing with him and when I turned my head to Naoki, I noticed that now he really was watching me and for that I’m pretty sure, because he smiled then and nodded and then started to sing along for himself. I was wondering whether they tried it in Finland or Sweden or in the Netherlands as well and if it went quite well, but when I came home today and read Akiya’s weblog he actually wrote that yesterday at our concert they tried it the first time. OH MY GOD.
I’m so glad it went quite well. It was not everybody singing the verse, but… more than I would have expected. At least they could hear us and they were happy we could sing it. I don’t even want to imagine what it would have been like if it had been just ten or twenty people singing along ^^;; So…. YES! ^_^
Well, after that the Untitled Bonus Track from Ouka Ranman played and they left the stage, waving at everyone, throwing towels, plecs and drumsticks. Isshi promised to come back and then he was the last one who left the stage.
The lights turned on again and everyone moved to the exit. We first bought some merchandise and I somehow just felt like crying, but again, I promised myself not to cry this time and I kept my promise. I didn’t.
Outside I met keimaxwell and we talked for a while. It was quite sad I couldn’t see her for a longer time. But I guess she came pretty late, so I didn’t see her before the concert.
Whatever, we spend the rest of the evening at Subways and were fangirling over Kagrra, and some other bands and… well, did a birthday video for Miyavi O_o” ..
It was so much fun to meet with everyone and I hope the day we meet again to see Kagrra, live will come again very soon.
