SUGAR? <3 <3
THAT'S OUR FRIENDSHIP PETNAME FOR EACH OTHER. I'M TALKING ABOUT MAIKUN AND ME, HERE!!
Yesterday, we had another conference call. This was slightly crazier than the previous ones. Oh, and I have a new nickname for "this friend". From now on, I'll be calling him "honey". Anyways, before our conference call, I remember Maikun suddenly texting me if I was busy because it had already been past 10. In my head, I was thinking "excited much?" then I started calling.
Sometime during the call, they decided to play a game of concentration and alertness. Right when it was Maikun's turn, he got cut off. Then, he had to wait 25 minutes to get back on. Everyone else waited 18 minutes. Then, he started to get sleepy. It was actually difficult to contact him. After two tries, he finally answered. He said that he had already fallen asleep. (hmmm...usually, he has a not exactly deep voice in person. When through the phone, it gets deeper. When through the phone and really sleepy...it gets even deeper...) Then, we continued playing the game. At some point, because he was answering too slowly, he was forced to answer questions (it was the consequence for making mistakes or answering too slowly). Honey suddenly asked Maikun, "do you love Charmagne?" and I'm like, "whaaaaaaaaaaaaa??!!!"..then a short awkward silence. Then, Maikun goes, "yes...as a friend".
Sometimes, it actually makes me wonder if he knows. Or noticed. Earlier in that same conversation, they asked me to call someone else. All they told me was her first name. So I said in question form her full name. Then Maikun goes and says sarcastically her first name and his last name. I pretend to tease him. Then, honey goes "no! Charmagne *maikun'slastname*!" and I was like "whaaaaaaaaaa??!!"
Remember I mentioned in the last post that Maikun and honey were joking that they were a couple? Well, they "broke" up yesterday and were fighting over another friend. More petnames emerged. Then, at some point during the conversation, honey joked that Maikun was now only his personal assistant. Then, maikun got cut off again. So, I told everyone else that I'll text him to sleep instead already. Then, honey said I should tell him stuff like he should clean his roof because [the dirt's] already embarrassing to the neighbors and that maybe he should clean his neighbors' front yard as well. So, I texted him that he should just sleep and those stuff. He replied with a "huh? why should I clean my roof?" apparently, he didn't get it. He's being told to do so because he's honey's assistant. Then, honey told me to tell him to get [honey's] papers/documents and to clean [honey's] hamster's butt. Maikun got a little pissed with this, I guess. It woke him up. He got hyper already. Then, he started texting weird stuff again. Pretending to be heartbroken. I even remember him texting honey (honey forwarded it to all of us) in all caps, saying stuff like "hey, my room is clean, not like yours!"
Then, at some point, he texted me, complaining that it's unfair how he has to wait the longest. Then, when the conversation continued, stuff just got weirder. There was even a part where we just listened to one of our friends playing the piano. I don't remember exactly what the piece was but it made honey suddenly sing Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. I couldn't help it. I found it so funny. The worst part was that I was drinking when he did that. It's not like he was doing it when I started. No, I was already filling my mouth with my drink when he suddenly sang and well, I'm just happy I didn't spit it out. Sure, I sort of did. But, I was able to swallow at least half. The other half came out of my nose (and at least 10% came out of my mouth). What's even worse is that my mom saw me.
Then, much later, honey started giving us petnames. All of us. When he got to me, I wasn't paying attention. I just remembered hearing "hi, honey" (hey, I was sleepy, it was already past 1 am, and I was on my bed already) then next I heard was him saying "hi, charmagne". Then, I suddenly asked him, just so it's not obvious I didn't hear, I asked him what all his petnames with others were. At the end of it, I teased Maikun because he didn't mention him in the list. Then, while everyone else was either quiet or talking to each other (I don't remember, all I remember is there was a piano playing in the background), I suddenly heard Maikun call out to me. He was saying something about how we should call each other "sugar". I don't remember if I said anything or if I went "huh?". Then, when he got cut off, I called him again (to join him in) and before I joined him, I asked him what he was saying regarding petnames but all he said was something like "ah, nevermind. It's nothing." Then, when we all got cut off again, I texted if they're all willing to wait for 30 minutes. Maikun said no. After replying to every text, I got so sleepy. Then, as good night, Maikun texted me. He said "I'll be sleeping already. Good mornight, sugar".
