Quick EMBARRASSING post =_="
MY GOOOOOOSH!! I accidentally sent a message to my dad. It ended up sounding so weird! You see, my friend asked me if one of our friends was coming over to my place. At the same time, my dad asked me to get the chicken out of the freezer. I didn't notice that I had already switched to my dad's message when I pressed 'reply'. I ended up telling my dad "No*. Sleepy and it's hot."
(*the actual reply I said was "di na. Inaantok at mainit daw." To my friend, technically, that would translate to something like "not anymore. [He's] sleepy and he says it's hot [outside]." but to my dad, it would be what I said above. Filipino friends, I'm sure you can see how rude and odd it would sound to my dad and how normal it would be to my friend.)
