I went back in my journal archives to 2006 and found this comment:
"Given the current New Years theme of people complaining about how their f-list is full of complaining, I would like to state on behalf of the management here at the interweb that the aforementioned whining does not apply in this case.
Not just because you keep your hot and cold in different journals, but because even your cranky journal isn't as cranky as a lesser person's would be. You are the underdog, and the punching-bag-clown that keeps popping back up. Your strength is an inspiration, your optimism is a beacon, and everyone's in your corner of the ring. You don't always see how many people have got your back, 'cause you keep looking forwards.
Also, you're like a shiny thing."
I went back to that comment time and time again when things got rough.
I am so very, very lucky.
