you know how you asked me for movies similar to "the count of monte cristo" and "nickleboy"? how about "the scarlet pimpernel"? has a hero who reminds me of a pimp version of batman, a heroine that reminds me of arwen without the annoying accent, and a villain who reminds me of claudesan, if he'd let himself chase whores and kill people in public. damn good film.

oooh. slashy period pieces. i really want to watch pimpernel again, though, even though it's not even remotely slashy.
had to write a paper for english last night on the movie version of pimpernel. basically it was two pages of blahblahblah and a page of "why percy is a sexy bitch". ::sigh:: percy...
