Living with people next year.
I like the idea of living with Katrina, Alex, and Michelle next year. It will be interesting, and we will need to work out some kinks. Probably a lot of kinks. It will save money, and will be convenient. But it still makes me think, Can I live with them?
Biggest issue would be food, simply because there will only be one kitchen. The idea of a food fund has been brought up. You pay this much money per month and there you go. This would be best if we all eat together, often. Unfortunately, there is Katrina. Besides the fact that half the food I eat is chock full of MSG goodness (because I can do without msg), our tastes vary so much. What I think is yummy, I know for a fact Trina wouldn't be able to eat, simply because of the spiciness. And I am not sure I am willing to eat Alex food. I don't fully trust his cooking. Weston and I like similar foods, I don't fully trust Alex cooking, and it would be unfair to ask Michelle to always cook (though I really don't mind the idea of having Michelle food all the time, YUMMMMMMMMY!!) And in all honesty, its not a hard issue. There is multiple ways to get around the problem, but it will make an interesting issue to discuss, and come up with a practical solution. I can think of a few, but we will need to work it out.
The next biggest issue would be space. I think we should get a house to rent, in my opinion, it would be better all around. Cheaper, more privacy, and more room. Alex, Katrina, Weston and I have a lot of junk. And all of us are pack rats. It will be interesting trying to figure out who's stuff can go where, and still maintain a semi-clean home.
An important issue will be sex. Like it or not, it is. All of us will be having sex. Alex and Katrina, Weston and me, Michelle and (she's an adult, if she so chooses to finally bring someone to her bed, That's her deal.) Most of us stay at home frequently, and I don't like the idea of hearing my sister have sex. Bed noises are funny as hell, and not what I am talking about, if you know what I mean :P. Weston and I plan on playing LOUD music. ^_^
Cleanliness will be an issue. 4 of the 5 of us are slobs. Poor Michelle, having to live with us. I don't mind my own messes in my own house, but the hypocrite in me hates others making messes in my space. I hope we have a dishwasher, that will help keep the kitchen clean. And I have a washer/dryer, so laundry will be easier (big fan of do your own laundry.)
