Fame is an amazing thing.
You know. Sometimes I really forget how much fame can affect your impressions of someone.
I really forget that these people are just normal people, like me.
Seeing Jaebum and HanGeng again, removed from their K-pop status, is like blowing my mind.
I'm looking at Jay in that video and I can't even believe that this is the same person. It's like I forgot what he looked like or something. I'm just like "OMG, he's just a normal guy. Just Jay Park, this guy on Youtube." I can't even believe that this is the same guy that people have been losing their minds over for the last five months. People have been losing their minds over this guy. And he's just a normal guy like the rest of us.
And now I'm looking at these LA pictures and thinking "why does he look like a normal guy, just goofing around with his friends on vacation?" And then it hits me - oh wait, he is. HanGeng is just a normal guy. Just a normal human being. Like me.
They're all just normal people, like me. Talented people, certainly, but still just regular human beings like me. I thought I wasn't one of those people who put idols on a pedestal but I guess I do, without even realizing it. Hmm, I feel like I just got a major reality check.
And I guess I needed it. :|
