Oh my god...this story was so moving...Honestly, it felt a little painful to read...In a way, it's something that a lot of people feel on a personal level..where rather than the fear of the actual incident itself, there is the absolute sense of fear that pervades you just with the thought of facing those people that you love. It's almost instinctual to be afraid of whether you will be accepted after something so tragic occurs. The expression of a mission like this, an experience like this, it fits something that often occurs in our society as well, and you've done a wonderful job to portray this.
Your writing is so raw, and so realistic, and that's something that I truly have to appreciate...In a way, I almost felt like I was holding my own breath, the torrent of emotions she felt, anger, shame, embarrassment, fear, it's so overwhelmingly painful and could be equally applicable to any person, which makes it feel all the more personal...

God, I was honestly moved by this line towards the end..."She finally allows herself to think. With the thoughts come tears and as she cries, she mourns - for her innocence forever lost, for her mind forever damaged and for her heart, forever torn."

A beautiful piece, please keep up the wonderful work...
