Well, I've graduated. I thought there would be more hurdles in the way, but there were/are not, and I now have in my possession that million-dollar sheet of paper.

I suppose I should feel elated and released from cares at the moment; in reality, there is only confusion and a fierce sudden loneliness. Somehow, I think I might be spending a decent chunk of time away from Hollidaysburg this summer.

This week's duties will include polishing the resume, checking Manpower and the want ads to see if anyone's in need of a secretary, possibly visiting the Pittsburgh posse, beating some video games, and whipping my bizarre circadian rhythm back to its proper tempo.

A list of resolutions for the summer/foreseeable future:
- Get a temporary job
- Get a Real Job in an Exotic Foreign Locale
- Look into getting ESL-certified
- Read about 9000 novels, in English and not
- Maintain at least four of my languages at advanced levels
- Stockpile $$$
- Join some kind of sports league?
- Join a choir
- Learn to (!) actually keep in touch with people
- Revive letter-writing
- Well, while we're at it... revive writing, period
- Get Netflix and watch hella movies
- Teach myself, improve my skills in or otherwise endeavour to learn at least some of the following things:
* Cooking
* Calligraphy
* Dancing
* Latin
* Basic calculus
* Sewing
* Photography
* Chess
* Basic oenology
* Some sort of instrument ... based on what I have available, probably piano or guitar
* Owning my brothers' punk asses at Nintendo

That's one tall-arse order, but I feel better for having written it. Now, I can be busy on my own terms. Maybe along the way I'll find people to be busy with. (In a most chaste and upright manner, verily)
We'll check back in six months' time to see where I stand on the leaderboard.
Or, hopefully, sooner.
