...yes, sometimes mentioning things makes me work...
I talked to Chris-san (*loves*) today. -^_^- At one point she gave me a link to the background she's going to use on her new layout. That made me get off my ass and redo mine like I've been saying I would. So... viola!
New layout: Serial Experiments Lain background. I love this image of Lain so much. The artbook images of her are all so wonderful. In case you can't tell, she's sitting on an almost empty stage. While I was looking for a good background picture I noticed most Lain artwork is monochromatic with one or two colors that pop out and really make it interesting.
The color scheme is really just about 5 or 6 colors I pulled straight from the image. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I wonder if there's a hexadecimal tool in photoshop. That would make redoing layouts a lot easier for me. hehe ^.^;;;;;
Anyway... I still need to tweak a few things like the link hover and such that I didn't do yet. Other than that, this layout is here to stay for at least a month ^.^;;; or until I become more obsessed with another anime series. haha.
