I used my extra check to buy a 360 Elite and a couple games. Being a fanboy of the other two consoles makes me sorta mad that I like it so much. They really did do a fantastic job with everything, minus the hardware itself.
In other, related news: Beautiful Katamari feels wrong. Not like it controls bad, or there's anything wrong with the game mechanics. It's just so smooth and crisp that it looks odd to me. It looks too good. I can't really describe it, but it's a feeling that hasn't gone away with time. Too bizarre.
