What a lovely day it has been. The weather has been nothing but attractive and the flowers in my garden are starting to bud. I'm particularly eager to see what will come of those seeds I found in that small casket in the barley ( Read more... )

Ooh first someone who can make clothes and now someone who gardens! Sadly, I can't do either hehe. But I agree! Today was really nice. I hope your seeds turn out well.

Night duty? Are you a guard by any chance?

Thank you very much. I'm sure you could do anything if you put your mind to it, however.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am.

Good point! That's what my dad tells me too.

Wooow! A guard that can grow flowers! Oh, I'm not saying that it's bad or anything. It's just, I never thought it'd be something a guard would be interested in.

Then maybe your father is quite the wise man.

My dear friend. We're all individuals, are we not? Everyone has his own little hobbies or quirks, they simply are better left behind while we put on our uniforms and patrol the streets.

He is! But can be pretty lazy, so mom is always scolding him. Sometimes I think my mom is the actual father in this house.

O-oh, I see. So in other words... what was that saying? Don't judge a book by it's cover, right?

I'll keep that in mind! Oh! I hope I didn't bother you from work! Good luck with that and hope all goes well for you! Um, Yukimura-san was it? Sorry, I saw what you told someone else on your entry.

That is no trouble. Thank you for your thoughts, easily excitable little stranger.

It's Taichi! Dan Taichi. Nice meeting you--- Wait! How did you know I was small? N-not that I'm that small though.

Ah. How do you do, young Taichi.

I merely interpreted your comments as ones stemming from a rather young individual.

Wow. You're really smart, Yukimura-san. Were you a detective before you were a guard? Or were you always a guard? Is it a hard job? Have you been doing it for a while now?

You're quite endearing. Ah, but... I've been a guard for five years now. Before that... I was a guard in training. And before that... Well, I was simply a young noble boy, amusing myself with flowers and some good literature. I am not all that old, my friend.

I hope that's a good thing...

Oh! Another noble! No wonder you write so nicely. Why'd you become a guard though?

And how did you know I thought you were old?!

I had my reasons.

Because you wondered if I was a detective before I became a guard. That requires a lot of studying, and then you need a lot of field exercise before you can even call yourself an investigator of the law.

What rea--

Really?! I didn't know that! And that actually wasn't why I thought you were ol--- let's just leave it at that! But I think you'd make a good one! You would probably catch all sorts of criminals.

Ah, thank you. My main concern is catching renegade, rouge anima however. I'm quite pleased with that.
