Yep.
It's good to be back. I enjoyed sleeping in my own bed, even if I haven't gotten to laze about the way I'd like to. Yesterday I got up to pick up waifu at the airport. It was POURING rain on the drive over there, and when I had to open my window to get my ticket, I got pretty wet. XD
But her flight was early and I didn't have to wait much at all. Five minutes at the most. And it was so good to see her again after all the shit I went through with my family over the holiday.
We went to El Fenix and waifu bought me lunch. :3 It was soooo tasty. Then (after getting a bit lost), we went to the movie theater and got our tickets. Wandered around in Barnes&Noble for a while, and I bought a book of "dirty Japanese" 'cause it was only ten bucks. XD I left it at waifu's dorm, but I think I'll get it tomorrow. I feel like poking at it.
Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory. I got a Pina Colada and Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake. Yum. Decided I do so love Pina Coladas. I just need to find a place to get them where they don't cost like EIGHT DOLLARS. What the hell. I hate how everything at that place is so insanely expensive.
But it was delicious. >3>
Then we went and saw Ninja Assassin. X3 Which was so fun. Dialogue wasn't the best, but I thought the plot was interesting, even if it was a little bit transparent. The action was badass, lots of delicious gore, and lots of SHIRTLESS RAIN. I approve wholeheartedly of shirtless Rain with his sexy long hair. And sharp pointy objects. Yes.
I'd see that shit again for sure.
People in the theater were being pretty retarded. These people sat down RIGHT next to me, even though the place was mostly empty, and then like halfway through they got pissed off because I was talking to waifu and moved. I was like, "Well, you shouldn't have sat down next to me and gotten all up in my shit and hogged my armrest, cocksuckers." XD Then they came back to look for the woman's cell phone 'cause she couldn't find it. WTF. Would it be THAT hard to wait til the movie is over?
Then... probably ten minutes before the movie was over, the people behind us left. There were like eight of them, four dudes and four chicks, and they just marched right out in front of everybody. It was really fucking disracting and annoying. And then the people came and started looking for the phone again. I was like, CALM THE FUCK DOWN AND WATCH THE MOVIE. JESUS. People are SO STUPID.
Buuut yeah. It was still enjoyable. :o
Errm. After that we wandered around in the cold and discovered that the town center closes down at 6 on Sunday, so nothing was open except the restaurants. Fail. But it was nice to see the Christmas decorations, even though it was pretty chilly.
Drove waifu back to Denton, and we watched some Rain MVs. Then I went home... did no homework like I should have. I think... I am mentally done with this semester. I just don't give a shit about anything at all now. I don't want to work on my last project for Linguistics... I don't want to do ANYTHING.
I know I need to... and I'll probably be able to force myself to be productive... it's just really hard.
I hope that I really recover over the winter break, because I cannot afford to be this apathetic during the hellmester. It's going to be bad enough without my need for an attitude adjustment. XD
Think I'm going to do some baking for people again this year. Everyone seemed to really like that when I did it before. Intend to try to make some divinity for Dia since I didn't do it last year. And... need to figure out what else. I'll probably make candy cane cookies, the peanut butter cup cookies, and the chocolate neopolitans that I tried out last year. I'll also probably make some gingerbread and sugar cookies. I think I'm going to try some of the chocolate peanut butter balls that my family likes as well. I want to go to Wal-Mart or something and get some cute cookie cutters....
Oh. And I want to try a coconut cake and an apple pie. I seriously feel relaxed just THINKING about being in the kitchen. Haha. I can't wait. I may start on that during finals week.
But yeah. That is a lot of sweets... but does anyone have any requests? I think I've already checked for allergies, and no one had any... except for miss Dia who has MSG. But I am pretty sure nothing I will be using has that....
I just wanna make sure everyone gets something they'll like. ^^;
So yeah.
Done with Chemistry. Alriiiiight. Got an A in that class. So I get to sleep in until 11 on MWF now. Yeehaw.
Trying to figure out what to do on Friday. Waifu has to work... but I really wanna hang out. Maybe I will hang out around campus or something until she gets done... she says the show is not very good, and I don't like jazz to begin with... so I don't really wanna go. But I dunno. We'll see what happens. Will talk to her about it.
For now, I should probably go. Need to at least pretend to pay attention in class.
