Will I ever stop making casting games? ... I doubt it. I started thinking about a Master and Margarita casting again (present Tsukigumi, of course - I think I do most of my mental casting with them) and realized that I haven't reread it in ages and would probably need to reread to plan a more detailed casting ( Read more... )

Cool! Master and Margarita is great! And I was sceptical about current Tsukigumi casting until you mentioned kumichou!Voland. Brilliant, really!
Not so sure about Morie!Ivanushka though... She seems to me too confident and sure of herself for this role. Personally, I think she'd make a good Behemoth from Voland's gang :)

Actually, Kirian!Master also doesn't seem right to me. Though Aono!Margarita might be good.

Behemoth? Now that's an interesting thought.

Why doesn't Kiriyan!Master seem right to you? *curiously*

I always thought Kiriyan was better in active roles than in thinking ones. Smart is Okay, but street smart, not book smart. And definetely not brooding indecisive scared-of-real-world intelligentsia.

Overactive loyal secretary from "Don Juan", mafia bodyguard from "Practical Joke", friendly pirate from "The Great Pirates", Adelaide from "Guys and Dolls" - those are just some of the roles I think she was really good at.

I think characters that really suit her are loyal, active, often acting before thinking, living in real world, not the dream world and never giving up. I don't think anything except "loyal" applies for the Master :)

I think Kashi would've been a good Master. Or maybe Emao Yuu. Or even Asako :)

Hmmm, you can see Asako!Master but not Kiriyan? Curious.

I can't see how is that surprising that I can see Asako!Master and not Kirian :) I've always thought they have very different types. I don't really think that the role of Master is super-fitting ideal for Asako, but I think she might do pretty good in that part. I think she would be better as lost, pained, not sure of himself and actually on the verge of going crazy Master than Kirian.

Still, I'd like to see Kashi!Master too ^^

Of course they are different types, but it's interesting that you think Asako would do better in such a role than Kiriyan - it's not in this direction that I see the difference between them (and don't ask me to formulate where exactly _I_ see this difference - I don't think I can put it into words)
