Funny: on the whole I'd say I prefer Bow Halls - more interesting plots, more opportunity to watch people you like, more background people getting roles, that kind of thing.
But the grand scene shows have parades. And I really, really like parades. I mean, what's not to like: there's the staircase, the rockettes, the sequins, the feathers (what's your favourite parade outfits? I think Karincho's in Chuusingura may be _it_ for me. But then, the Chuusingura aftershow was altogether rather wild - take the punk otokoyaku ballet or whatever it was), the deep importance of the order in which people descend, the attempts to find non-star-track people bowing... that kind of thing.
I also rather like 'Parisian' revues which people tend to find boring: I think _the_ image of Takarazuka for me might be an otokoyaku in black tails and a musumeyaku in a long dress with that feathery thing on her head that top musumeyaku often wear for TCA.
