(1) Congratulations to Masao, Chapi and Mirio and to everyone who cares about them.
(2) Chapi is so talented and charming but what a pity they hadn't given hertime to grow up some more. She totally can do Juliette, but let's hope she is given enough time to grow on the job and to be able to do more mature roles.
(3) Masao top star! Yay! She has so much talent and charisma.
(4) Mirio is also an absolutely talented one, and they obviously are great with each other, so they will have fun - and hopefully less stress (on the other side, learning two roles? Stressful!)
(5) That said, I am kind of worrying whether this new structure, whatever it finally shakes down to, diminishes Masao's achievement - or Mirio's (because Mirio as a top after Masao would have been absolutely right and understandable). Maybe it's a silly worry, but it's still there.
(6) I also think this combi is doing to do great in R&J, and it'll be interesting to see Masao's and Mirio's versions of both Romeo and Tybalt.
(7) However, I am not totally happy that it's a Grand Theater show - too few named roles, too little stuff for most people to do (and didn't they take some stuff out of the Yuki version?)
(8) But, of course, I am already busy imagining the cast. The trouble is that there's too few senior people - will we have lots of Senka? Also, I am not quite seeing kumichou as Lorenzo. But one thing I both want and hope to get: Suzuna as Lady Capulet!
(9) What, more waiting to see what it comes to? Also, after R&J they're having a tour: how does it work with the demi-top thing? Does Mirio get the Bow Hall again, or does it go to someone younger?
... yes, I am impatient. And curious.
