I just read (probably like everyone else ^^’) the news about KT-TUN touring around Asia and Jin going to LA again and I must say, that I was rather surprised by all the comments I saw, and what the people say about it… Because I am actually kind of happy about all this… (am I weird? XD)
(
to my thoughts... )
Although I only got into KAT-TUN during the time when they release DUES and was not apart of the fandom when Jin left, just the thought of them being split up again really bothers me. I want them to be 6, I want to continue believing in a 6 member KAT-TUN, I really do, but sometimes Jin's individualistic attitude when he's with the group makes it difficult to continue believing in 6. I get the impression that he has given up and wants out of the group, and that's what frustrates me the most!
Today, I think the opportunity will benefit them all but when I think about their next album only being done by 5 members, their next single being done by 5 members, the next MV, and the tour all being done by 5 members, as a KAT-TUN fan who has long believed in them growing together, it's just upsetting.
I wish all 6 of them the best but I think this decision was just done at the wrong time. I think KAT-TUN's Asia Tour following their record breaking 8 days in Tokyo Dome tour is fitting but to have Jin leave is weird. I will support the decision for them to do this the way they have planned it, but it does not mean I like it at all. I hope that KAT-TUN will remain KAT-TUN but if Jin's attitude changes again, like it did when he returned to KAT-TUN after he left, then I will just give up on him as a member of KAT-TUN.
Also, although it has been 4 years since KAT-TUN's debut, including these 6 months and the last 6 months, Jin has only been apart of KAT-TUN for 3 years since their debut. I mean, seriously, how many Johnny's groups or individuals have that bad of a track record of being apart from their group, and it doesn't even have anything to do with an illness ...

KAT-TUN are still a group, Jin didn't give up on them at all. If he had wanted to, this would have been the best oppotunity for him to do it, since he was so succesfull with his solo concerts. but He didn't leave, and I believe it is because he wants them to go world wide as a group too. this is not the kind of oportunity he should have let go!
Oh no, he didn't leave because of an illness... He's got something even worse: it's incurable,it's leading his life, making him happy... And that's called a Dream.
