(no subject)
So, I'm going to a Green Day concert tonight. My cousin Rex called and asked if I wanted to go, and when I talked to my uncle I sort of got the feeling that if I didn't say yes then Rex wouldn't get to go. I used to love Green Day so much...in like junior high. lol. I don't think their style has changed much, I don't dislike them, I just lost interest and my musical taste changed. I guess I'm not super excited because the seats are up in this little box instead of being down on the floor. I just can't imagine the concert being very exciting when I'm sitting way up in this box away from the crowd and the stage. I dunno, I'm more excited about spending time with my cousin than seeing Green Day. I go to comic book conventions with him and I was going to go to the Natural History Museum with him, but I had to work. I was pissed too, I wanted to see donosaur bones and stuff. He likes anime and manga and borrows my crazy Japanese horror flicks. He's almost a junior black belt in Karate and he whoops my ass at Dynasty Warriors. He's the closest thing I have to a little brother, I'm just so happy that he enjoys my company so much.
