2 Korean Happy Birthday Songs

Feb 24, 2008 01:22

It was my friend's birthday a little while ago. Since she's far away, I made her a video tribute with korean birthday song.
It was unbelieveably hard to get my hands on this song... I got two versions: ones slow and kinda pretty, another is a little girl cute kiddy version.

I was actually trying to find the first version a while back, and the little kid version is adorable.

Thanks for sharing.^^

P.S. When I opened the first song in RealPlayer, it said this:
Happy Birthday to You- 구혜선
album: No. 1 Drama Best/한류

I don't use RealPlayer for everything, but my brother set it to open mp3s there. u_u*
It was saying you could could find it on Rhapsody too or something.

I set the computer to read Korean unicode fonts because I was tired of so much stuff coming up as gibberish. I just had to get used to seeing won symbols instead of backslashes.^^;

Yeah, the Asian languages pack works for the unicode fonts, but not necessarily all the non-unicode ones. I changed our computer to read Korean in non-unicode programs and now I have no problem with pages, players, songs etc. from coming up with Korean instead of gibberish. You can't read gibberish at all. DX (That made me, and my OCD tendencies go insane.)

oh i see. in that case, would it be too much of trouble if you can tell me how to set it please. thanks in advance. i use microsoft apploche for my cluboxx downloads but the popup at every CB startup is kinda annoying.

Sure, no problem.^^

You just go to your Control Panel > Date, Time, Language and Regional Options >
Regional and Language Options > Advanced tab > Then set the Language for Non-Unicode programs to Korean, click OK and then restart your computer.

That is for how it is set up in XP, so if you use Vista, I am not completely sure.^^;

Your welcome. :D

I had been going crazy with seeing gibberish for quite a while and I was so glad when someone actually mentioned changing that setting in the learn_korean community about a month or so ago. That is a very helpful trick.^^
