[Kakyou sounds anguished, his voice barely more then a choked whisper. Actually, most of what he's murmuring over and over is indistinguishable, aside from short snatches.]

[A few seconds of ragged breathing, when he finally answers his voice is choked] I keep... hearing her voice...

[No answer. But Sonic may see Kakyou flinch and clap his hands over his ears. The background will be part of a bed and a side-table, so most likely he's in his bedroom. But do you remember when he told you he lived with Kamui?]

[Damn experiment. No one should have to go through this. Sonic's ears pressed against his head in reaction to seeing Kakyou. He remembers Kakyou telling him that when they first met. (He sort of had a sheet over him at first!) But before Sonic rushed over, he spoke over the journals again.]

As real as it seems like it is, it isn't. You can get through this and beat it at its game. You got your friends there, and I'm headin' out that way myself.

I know... I know it isn't real... she isn't here... but... but--!! [Whatever else he's gonna say is cut of by a sob.]

[And luckily, Kakyou's bedroom is on the ground floor and his window's open.]

[Hooray for open windows! Thanks. XD Sonic wouldn't want to do the whole breakin and entering bit. But since he knew that Kakyou might not be able to get to the door, especially not now, Sonic will rush over and enter through the window.]

[The blond is huddled in a corner with eyes squeezed shut and hands clapped over ears.]

[Sonic went over to the dreamseer and knelt down beside him. He carefully placed a hand on his back, to reassure him that a friend was there.]

She must mean a lot to you, right? [Whether in a positive or negative way, Sonic wasn't sure yet. But whoever she was, she affected Kakyou greatly, and it was cause for concern.]
