Finally a moment to Post

I've been wanting to post about my awesome fun adventure at Wonderland's Halloween Haunt Oct. 31...ok yeah it's a bit late but I've been busy doing actual social stuff, apparently the school monster decided to release my soul for the weekend. ^_^
Anyway, Halloween Haunt was tons of fun. I only managed to convince one person to go with me this year, but it was totally awesome. I guess because it was a school/work night, there weren't very many people there. So we got on the rides in relatively short times! (5-10 min (or less! Yippee)instead of the usual 30-aaaagh how long can a person wait for a 30 sec ride minutes?!?!). At the FX theater, we were the only ones in the theater during the showing we watched! (As an example of how NOT crowded it was.)

The haunted houses were rather good too. Anybody with claustrophobia would have truly disliked Miner's Revenge. This one didn't really have anybody jumping out at you or making scary noises, but it was narrow and at one point we had to duck (my friend is barely over five feet, to give you an idea of how low the ceiling came down at that point). The Clown's at Midnight was pretty cool too. One area in that haunted house was nothing but a wall of stuffed animals. Creatively creepy!

Also in the same area as the Clown's at Midnight haunted house they put on a show (a first for this year, previous year's did not have live performances of anything (other than the actors in the haunted houses or wandering around randomly chasing guests)) that included lying down on broken glass, having darts thrown at a bare back, and hammering a nail up the nose...can I just say ewwwwwww!!!! (Plus, the crowd was rather bloodthirsty too! They creeped me out more than the performance in some ways o_O;)

It started to rain near the end of our evening but that just meant more ride time as the crowds thinned out even more than they already were. Happy happy ^_^.

On the not so happy side, I had a terrible thought. The first year for Fear Fest(under the Paramount name), I went with 3 other people (we got rained out and sent away, but I went back with 1 same and 2 different people), the next year I went with 2 other people, and this year I went to Halloween Haunt (Wonderland now under the Cedar Parks banner) with 1 other person.

Now let's see...3,2,1...er...T.T 0? This definitely does not bode well, I can't go by myself! I'm too chicken, I need someone to hold my hand when I go through the haunted houses!

*sigh* I hope this trend reverses itself. It would be much nicer to go 3-2-1-2-3...yes? ^_^
