Okay, I know I need to recap my artworks from various H/D fests in past several months, but I just need to mentnion this--

From exclusive interview of David Yates(director of DH2 movie) at SnitchSeeker.com:
-------
Yates: [...]There was also a moment where Tom... we had this scene. In this scene where Tom throws Harry a wand, which is a big deal - a hugely different ending. It's not a different ending, it's a different moment. And we thought, "Oh my god, is that too much of a turnaround for Malfoy?" So Malfoy suddenly becomes a good guy - so that's what Steve [Kloves, screenwriter] wrote.

-------

EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

OMG seriously that is the moment I wanted in that movie, man!

I'm not saying this because I'm a H/D shipper(okay, maybe a bit); it's just, in the 6th film they made Draco into a very unique, sympathetic character with the complexity which even JKR had never seen in him(in order to make other characters stand out, so I hope) and I don't think *this Draco*'s story would ever come to completion until he admits his own weakness and longing for Harry and finally takes his action-- no matter how small it is-- against his father and Voldemort.

And so, despite David Heyman and David Barron(accouding to Yetes)'s decision, I don't think the outcomes of Draco depicted in DH2 film was most effective for the character. In my impression, they choose that ending because they felt Klove's version being too diverted from the book, or too overshadowing the stories about Harry and Snape.

I understand those psyches of filmmakers but honestly I was sad to see Draco walking away Hogwarts with accomplishing nothing. I hope they will at least give us the full footages of "alternative endings of Malfoys" which Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton kept mentioning in the upcoming DVD.
