Warning: Long entry ahead
Most of you would have noticed by now that I don't really have a clue what's been up in the fandom lately. For weeks, really. I'm so behind lol. Anyways, caught up on a few things today:
Maou: I finally watched the first episode and holy crap. At the beginning of the episode I had some trouble following the plot--I don't know if this was due to lack of sleep--and as a result, became bored. Then, after maybe 15 minutes of confusing dialogue and developments in the storyline (I should probably try watching this again), it suddenly became awesome.
For whatever reasons the opening failed to capture my attention, the rest of the episode made up for it in great acting on Toma and Riida's part, dark undertones, music, and the interesting twists towards the end. I can't really make any speculations this early on but I'm liking this one so far. I hope this doesnt turn into one of those jdramas that start off with great potential, and end up losing its drive and overall storyline halfway through the show (Hello, Last Friends :|)
Last Friends: I'm only halfway through episode 9 but I can kind of see why there are so many negative responses about the show. I think at this point, the plot has gone kind of downhill for me. I dont know. It's all getting a bit repetitive and angsty, and it seems the director/scriptwriters are more focused on Sousuke beating up Michiru than actually developing the storyline. Or maybe my expectations are too high or something. In any case I'm still curious to see how this ends.
Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi: Don't really know when this came out, but I started watching this yesterday and like it so far. Its a bit odd at times, but interesting in that sense. It's hard to describe really. In a way it reminds me of something out of 'Kafka on the Shore'...because they both have creepy talking animals. (Ok, thats a bit of a stretch, but whatever).
So far out of this seasons dramas I'm probably only going to follow 'Yasuko to Kenji' and 'Maou'. I'd be half-lying if I said I was watching the former for the storyline or good acting, or Mabo, even. Okura-baited, obviously :D
- RE: Shige's hair: LOL could have been worse. I don't know what else to say here. Honestly, he just looks the same to me except..blonde. Also, I just noticed that he's been getting alot of drama roles lately. Why? WHERE THE HELL IS MY YOKO OR MARU DRAMA
- HOLY SHIT my ovaries. I'm honestly confused about the random, overly hot photoshoots all the JE groups are getting lately. Not complaining though. Also, hi there Maru.
- Oh, no Subaru scandal!!1: I'm really not surprised to how people are reacting, but personally, LOL. Fandom is so serious business nowadays and sometimes I cannot comprehend people's stupidity. Honestly, the article or w/e looks like a butchered version of a really bad porn fic.

I'm in need of some good crack: Links to videos, picspams, rec some good honjani eps (or any show really), translations, scans, fandom wank, pr0n fics etc will do. Spazzing is also acceptable. Doesn't have to be anything new. Anything. Really. I've been in a weird state due to lack of JE exposure. Its slightly unnerving.
Been rewatching alot of Eito's older shows like Honjani and Urajani (more people should watch this) and random clips this past week. Oh my god.
If you haven't I HIGHLY suggest you go and download/watch this, though, even if you're not usually interested in Kanjani8. Freaking hillarious. Just the Ryo parts are reason enough to watch, if you like him.
SOREYUKI DAIDAMAN
Holy shit. Best SP show ever. I watched this raw back in May or something but I didn't realise they released subs for it. I think everyone's already seen this, but anyway, caps:
Ryo, Hina and Subaru were assigned to help some lady clean her house. Unfortunately for them it happened to look like this:

IDEK. Because I didn't cap Yoko and he is actually really hot, okay. There was this sexy eyebrow thing he did here, which I kind of failed to cap >:|
