I find it interesting that when reminiscing about my Host family, the only thing I can think of that I miss is the food. While I was there, I got to eat some pretty interesting stuff, and even though I was constantly complaining about not getting enough and such, it was still rather cool. Now I miss Japanese food, which is weird seeing as how I live in Japan. In order to save money though, this is my current everyday diet: Breakfast - 1 or 2 pieces of toast and some Juice, Lunch - SlimFast Bar and Gummi Snacks, Dinner - Microwave Mac&Cheese and Hot Chocolate. This only changes during the weekends, or if I'm really desperate during the week I get Chinese. Actual Japanese food is just WAY to expensive here unless you make it yourself, and those of you who know me know that this is NOT an option. ^^; Not to mention dirty kitchen and Lazy-ness. :P
I am now into Midterms week. AHHH!!!! Time to study! I just had my Advertising Management test today which went pretty well I think/hope. *crosses fingers* I have a ten page paper due in Japanese Society & Law by the end of the week and (as usual) A LOT of Japanese tests.
I am worried about school stuff back in Chico. While I was there during break they said I could still graduate at the end of this semester as long as I completed everything. Well they LIED! I found out two weeks ago that Waseda (Jap Univ) can't send all my documents to Chico till August, and in order for me to graduate they need them by the end of this month! Grrrr... *urge to throw things* I tried to email Chico but I haven't gotten any response... I need to know if I have to still be registered and take classes next semester in order to get my diploma and walk in the Fall, even though I wont NEED any more classes. My head hurts.
FUN NEWS! I found out that I am going back to the States MUCH early then I had planned. This is both a good and bad thing, but I am trying to just focus on the good! If everything works out, I'll be able to make it to at least the last two days of AX06! That would make me very happy. Especially since this year I get in for free! ^_^ I'll keep everyone posted.
OK! Thanks to everyone who helped with my WWII presentation! It was a great help. ^_^ Brandon is fine now, if a little beat up. Thanks for all of your concern. Last but not least... Yes, that is Trisha the Geisha from Kyoto.
