I'm really starting to get annoyed with my friends who call me up or drop by unexpectedly to get relationship/love advice from me. I get a strong urge to smack them upside their head and shout, "What the hell are you thinking coming to me!?" I mean, seriously! My love life has always been the running joke in my circle of friends, and it's the one that is used to cheer up people. "Hey, look on the bright side! At least it's not as bad as [Kura's]!"
And honestly, if any of them have ever seen me in a "loving, long-lasting" relationship, I have to wonder what strange alternate reality they live in. Just because one of my preferred genres of writing (in any creative field) is romance, doesn't mean to come to me for advice. In fact, that should be the reason not to come to me. Obviously if I'm writing romance, my views on it are severely warped.
Maybe they'll learn their lesson if I start telling them to just ditch the guy no matter what's happening... Hmm... So tempting... >:)
Anyways, painting is still not done. I'm slightly annoyed, but I'll live. I think, lol. While I have nearly all of my homework done, I still have one major assignment left to do. My philosophy mid-term. Because the class is a hybrid (meaning we have lectures, but all our work is done online), she just put it up late last night. And since the days have been crazy around here and it closes 2 hours after we open it, I've been waiting for the night. While doing tests at night is not something I'd advise, it's unavoidable at the moment.
And in-between assignments, I did manage to get in my weekly manga readings! Naruto was a nail-biter with the battle between Pein and Kakashi. I nearly cried because I was so terrified that Kishimoto would actually kill off another character. Until the invasion ends, I will keep on reading each chapter expecting the worst. I really hope he doesn't kill off any of the main characters.
Code Breaker is really getting interesting. I'm looking forward to everything that'll be revealed. Oogami Rei is so awesome too. He may be a real cold bastard, but that's OK. I'm able to overlook it because he's so cool. He reminds me so much of Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho too.
I'm getting further in Flame of Recca as well. Up to chapter 82 already, and it really has me hooked. It's so getting recommended to Ryoko-chan, she's always looking for new manga to read. And she'll probably end up finishing it before me. (I just won't mention that she reminds me of Fuuko, lol...) But I'm really liking it. The tournament arc is turning out to be incredibly interesting, even though I'm not even half-way through it. And Koganei is too damn cute for his own good.
And now, I'm off to take a mid-term. Hopefully she found the time to put more than 10 questions on it.
