Some people just love stress.

Two and a half weeks to go until my friend's wedding, and as usual, trouble crops up.

The girl who asked to do their wedding photography (and refused to accept money for it) dropped their event to do her cousin's wedding. She happens to be dating the best man and asked him to do the photography for the wedding instead. Now the best man and the groom aren't exactly on speaking terms because he actually asked to drop out of the wedding because he has no backbone when it comes to his girlfriends. On top of that, they are desperately looking to find a photographer who will do it on such short notice. Thankfully she has someone in mind.

Somehow even though she's two weeks behind on her summer term homework, a day behind on her training for her job at the Church, having issues with her new cat and possible fleas, and freaking out about her wedding, she manages to find the time to call me and complain about all her problems because she knows I will sort them for her.

I almost feel bad that I seem to be the only one not freaking out about her wedding because so many things have gone wrong. Funnily enough, my biggest fear: not fitting into my dress for the wedding, lol.

In good news, I have finally finished editing all of my fanfiction one-shots, and on-going ones I've written. I know I'll be posting the one-shots on deviantart, but I'm still debating about posting the multi-chaptered fics. Oh, deviantart, how you confuse me with your options...

I still have around fifteen fics left to finish editing, and I'm working hard so I can have them all once again posted on ff.net before I leave for my vacation (July 25th). And as for the story I've been beta-reading... We've finally reached chapter 10 of it. It may not seem like much, but given the length of her chapters, that's around 100,000 words. Two novels. Though I am pleased to note that I have talked her into cutting out close to 20,000 words. Hopefully I can talk her into cutting out another 3,000 words before we venture past chapter 10.

100,000 words done; 400,000 more to go.

One more thing of note -- the detect button for location amuses me. It seems to think I live in California, lol.
