Too awake to... Too tired to...
Just when most of us living in this city thought we would never see the sun again, it hit 80 degrees. After three wonderful days of sun. Until today, I forgot just what 80 degrees felt like. Sadly, we all know it will be going away soon. This is Northern Oregon, after all. I think my wolf-hybrid is already wishing it was winter again, complete with the strange two feet of snow.
Though for some strange reason, the warm weather is sapping away all my energy. It took me an hour to drag myself out of bed. Lethargic, much?
Anyway, I finally finished copying and saving all my stories. And I have taken them down. Everyday I look at the stats for some of my stories, I see more people have favorited certain on-going ones, have left new reviews, put me/the stories on alert... It made me feel too guilty to leave them up for another week because they're never going to be updated on that account again. And as soon as I finish up the poem I have to write for workshop (one day... I swear I will post the things I've written for workshops!), I'll be going through and editing them all. I cannot in any good conscience re-post my earlier stories without completely re-doing them. They're so... so bad. After having to reread some of the chapters as I was copying, I feel as if I owe everyone who read them some form of compensation... Seriously. I'm only thankful no one associates my pen-name with some of the things that have become horribly cliched that I had a hand in making into those horrible cliches. I should feel special, but I will just deny any involvement whenever it gets brought up. More current stories will have extra scenes in every chapter so it won't be entirely the same story as before.
