Westlife Gravity Tour 2011 - Malaysia Concert
Sorry for the late post. I was worried about all the attacks on LJ... :3
Anyway, here we go! :D
My sister & I took the LRT to go to the concert. When we arrived, there's a lot of stalls selling fanmade concert T-shirts. And then, we saw something that had the fans gathered around:
A red carpet wall (with red carpet! 8D ) and 4 life-size cut-out each of the members. XD
It was crowded so couldn't fit all 4 of them... ^^;;
After that, we queue up at the stadium's entrance. A few minutes after that, we can go in and I was looking for Sony Music booth and finally found it. There's no banner around the booth, only saw a crowd buying the CDs. I bought the collector's edition CDs and we were ushered by 3 staff before taking our seats. Oh wow, expensive tickets really feels like VIP. XD;;

The concert starts late because it was raining heavily that night and they were waiting for more people to come and fill up the stadium.

The concert starts with a instrumental intro for a few minutes. It continues seamlessly with the intro of the song and then, the curtains drop and there it is, Westlife! Singing one of my favorite song to start off the concert. XD OMG! The fangirls scream are really loud and it almost make me deaf. ^^;;

I don't know how they do it... they always sing other artist songs better than the original singers! XD;; It is one of my fav song from Michael Bublé and I'm so in love with Westlife version. <3
My Love
They called a fan to come up on stage and a man with a woman came up. The staff brought 2 chairs for them to sit and they asked their names, how's the concert so far. And then they said the man wants to do something special.
He suddenly kneel down, take out a small square box, open it, and ask that woman:
"Will you marry me?"
And the whole stadium cheering so loud! My sister & I was so surprised! XD;; We can't believe it! A Malaysian man proposed at a Westlife concert! XD;; The woman said yes and another cheering for them! XD After that, they asked us to sing along the song to the happy couple! XD

Awesome medley! XD Although it's weird to hear guys singing "I'm the only girl in the world~" XD;;
Flying Without Wings
They said it's their No.1 hits. It's the song that made Westlife popular worldwide. And it's definitely a fan favorite. <3 After the song, they introduced their live band members. :D

Uptown Girl
I don't care. They haven't come here in 9 years and I never met them when they came in the past. I stood up, sing and dance along with them. This fangirl is crazy. XD;;
MCs
I've forgotten the order for the setlist, so here's in random order. ^^;;
- Sing along My Love with them make them feels old, lol! XD;;
- They said they love recoding their fans so they kept wanting us to shout & scream for the video recordings. XD
- They said it's been 9 years since the last time they came to Malaysia. And they really love our country. XD They went to bowling the day before the concert and everywhere they went, when people saw them, they waves at them and shout "Westlife~!" and taking pictures. XD "We always feel welcome here. We really love Malaysia. Thank you for all the support for the last 14 years." <3
I'm glad I could understand their Irish accent. XD
Maybe it just me but I feel like it's kinda short. I want more! XD;;
Oh well... ^^;;
Sony Music Malaysia released a Collector's Edition album. It was sold at the concert earlier than the release date and has a special price. It contains the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Westlife albums in a box.
