Everyone is "Man of la Mancha" sounds amazing.
I wish I was not such a crappy auditioner. Or that I don't chain smoke on a regular basis.
Yesterday, I made coffee labels, moved stuff around for Terry and Cristin, filed papers & played Facebook games. Good day.
Stephanie was doing a character breakdown sheet while I was manning the stereo. It looks horrid. Poor Stephanie.
LEXINGTON.
I was there at the Job Fair for two days, both from 9 - 6 pm. I passed out my resume to 15 companies, including three Shakespeare festivals (all of which know the faculty at UT) and had 6 interviews, including one with Santa Fe Opera.
This causes a huge dilemma for me. I called my brother yesterday to wish him happy birthday and he asked me about the internship hunt. When I told him, I was looking and keeping optimism, he asked when I would come home. When I told him I didn't know, he kind of had a sad quality in his tone of voice.
I'm wondering, between the fact that most of these internships end at least a week after I start school and that I still have 1.5 years left, if going out for a job/internship is the right idea. I haven't been really home in more than a year. And now with my older brother back, I miss home more than ever. However, I want to apply for an internship for STAR Players in Taunton that pays $200/week from June-Augustish. I can just work out the school thing with Kenton & Joel from STAR.
Still, I don't know. Maybe I'll ask Jonathan for advice. He seems to be my go-to person with this sort of thing.
