It's Jewbear playing a children's card game in Hell !
And once again, I took my sweet little time before posting again :D (if we can consider the two loast post as ‘posting’ *waves her Canadian flag*) There’s not many things I wanted to post but my laziness caught up with me (my laziness and the fact that I spend too much time on ONTD, ONTD_Skating, watching YuGiOh : The Abridge Series and reading slash ; all of these things are linked together of course !) It’s weird though. I’ve never read so much fic than when I’ve got to study or do something else o_O I understand the feeling when people say ‘I’ve got to study ><’
I really liked the Winter Olympics this year. I could not watch a lot of it with the time difference but what I saw was pretty awesome. Hell, I even was patriotic towards my country (which does not happen a lot, I am a bad supporter, I confess.) and I think we did well with eleven medals, especially in biathlon ! (Even though we totally got fucked in the last nordic combined event !) I actually prefer the Winter Olympics to the Summer Olympics. It’s going to be a long wait until Sochi 2014 :\ (which are going to be something, I think. What is Putin plotting ? XD)
I followed some sports more than other, although I usually kept an eye on whatever was being shown on TV. Sadly, what I liked the most (and yet don’t like watching live), figure skating was always happening during the night and I could only see bits of what was re-aired the next day. Fortunately, this way I was spared Joubert (or Jewbear XD)’s breakdown on the ice >_> and when I saw bits of it, I was kind of happy not to have seen it live. Because that literally hurts to see him fucked up so bad. Especially since he is one of the rare French athletes I like and support. He’d better not fuck up as bad as that in Worlds since I’ll be trying to watch the competition live (as in during my US History class, instead of taking notes. If I find a good stream and don’t have a shitty connection. I’ll be monitoring a live watch-post on ondt_skating anyway, if I don’t have a stream). On the other had, even though he has done his mea culpa and has realised that he acted a bit like a little shit (a little shit everyone wants to jump :D) and he did not fucked as bad during the test from the French Federation, it has been a month since the Olympics (as far as men’s skating is concerned) and it might be too short from him to be able to go back to a very good level.
I mean, I’m not going to be asking myself : ‘Is he going to win ?’ but ‘Don’t fall again, pretty please ?’ Furthermore, with Weir, Lysacek, Plushenko, not going to Worlds, if he does not medal, the French media are going to have a field day. More pressure on Jewbear’s shoulders :\`Anyway, I’ll be cheering for him and Daisuke Takahashi :D I want him to medal too :D (I don’t really expect Jewbear to medal, though. I have to be realistic. If he is on the podium, I’m going to be torn between ‘Good, you still got it !’ and ‘Why the fuck didn’t you do that in Vancouver ?’)
I’ve been really obsessed with figure skating during the past weeks. I lost count of how many dreams I had about figure skating and I remember only one of them (because it was a really weird dream o_o) I usually dream more about Jewbear, with cameos from others such as Plushy, Stephane Lambiel and I think Weir once :D I dreamt about skaters last night, there was two of them. I only remember Stephane though. And they weren’t skaters. I can’t remember what it was about, just that we were in front of my house and things were happening, and I wanted very much to do Stephane (not that it’s anything new :D). The other dream I remember is a bit old, I had it during the second week of the Olympics.
First things to know is that I was a guy in that dream (it’s actually a common thing in my dream for me to be a guy) and in the dream we all spoke English (also a common thing. I know I’m weird). In the dream I was talking with Plushenko about the results of the men’s skating, specifically about the ‘To Quad or Not To Quad’ controversy. I was disagreeing with Pluskenko and I was not nice about it. Roughly the dicussion went (I only remember what I said, not what Plushy said :\)
“Your jump were quite good. But it’s not only a jump competition, you know. You can jump but the rest of your skating sucks.”
(Yes, I said to Plushy that his skating sucked. That was oddly satisfying in the dream. Which is weird because I did not really liked him at the time but now I’m kind of starting to like him.)
“Besides, you already won things.”
(I then try to soften the blow and this is when the dream weers into WTF territory.)
“ I could not win anything like that in sports. I suck too much. Except in a shag contest maybe…”
(My mind, in the gutter. Even when I dream. The best thing about this ? I then suggested to Plushy that we do a shag contest, he liked the idea and we started laughing our ass off XD. I then spotted Jewbear and decided to ask him to participate in the SHAG CONTEST (which consisted in screwing each other.)
“And here is the Cute French Contestant !”
(And cue, another fit of giggles. Everyone was laughing. )
And then I woke up. Not fair. I wanted to see the SHAG CONTEST.
(We’re the 21st of March, I’m 22 years old, yay ! Like it means anything :D)
(I need a figure skating/Jewbear icon >oo<… And a figure skating layout would actually be easier to make that a all-slash one… Hmm.)
Last but not least :D I’m going to Angels on Ice :DDDDD Meaning I will saw Jewbear, the Russian Mullet IRL. (The Magical Zebra aka Lambiel was supposed to be there but it’s not on his official site so… I think there will be no Magical Zebra.) I’m excited and I can’t wait until the 3rd of April !
