I know I'm crazy but...!
I absolutely loved that film and I had another cheaper ticket so a pure trance of squee, I decided to go see it again. The ticket was only valid until today. There were no other films that interested me and I yield to the guilty pleasure. (My mother was like "You're crazy, ye know...")
And T_T How I loved that film, it's insane ♥ You really need to focus on the characters, their emotions rather than on the action to fully appreciate it [Although the action is quite good and well-paced]. It's not the classic western, black and white. It's a remake of the 1957' one but it's quite different. In '57, it was black and white, the gooddie and the baddie. In '08, the line is not so neat, on the contrary quite blurred. And it's what makes the movie interesting.
The end is really beautiful and killed me each time. It's the climax (XD) of what we see evolving throughout their journey. It really emphasise the relationship between Dan and Ben [They're both broken in their own way.] And the music in the end is T_T
Really, it's a good film; action, emotion, good music. Even I don't like western and yet I loved it.
And I'll stop before I start to rant too much X3 (I keep that for later in a more organised way)
