~ I’ve redone my profile once more. Rewrite my bio, add some things or two, correct others. Go have a look if you had the time, even if only to look at my pretty banners.
~ LJ is being a bitch again. I do not receive mail when someone comment on one of my posts or comments, it does not alert me anymore or once in while. Is that only me or does anyone else have that problem ? I alreadu checked my comment settings and I’m still supposed to receive mails. I don’t. Checking every place I make a comment is getting a bit annoying after a week.
~ The whole Dumbledore is gay ! Grindeldore is canon !business is getting out of hand. People are reacting so stupidly, it’s painful. Such a revelation was bound to be wanky. The greatest wizard of all, the wise mentor of Harry Potter being gay was bound to wreck havoc amongst the whole world and particularly the HP Fandom.
And JKR wins for basically telling her whole haters and nitpicking fans to bugger off. But it’s getting tiring and annoying, the reactions of people, that is. The f_w post is a proof that, first the HP Fandom is really a bunch of immature brats, idiots who lacks brains and bigoted whiners. Almost all parts of the HP Fandom have something to whine about, whether it’s “EWW, Dumbledore gay ? But he’s ooold” or “Dumbledore gay ? So he was coming on to Harry !” or “What did she make Dumbledore gay and not Sirius and Remus ?” or “Why did she not put it in the books ?”… And I’d better stop that or I’m going to murder someone. But it's not only the HP Fandom, christians are whining, I bet parents do too. And of course, everyone thinks it's commercial. Like she need to sell more books >_>. No, that's called backstory, people and that's why it's not necessarily in a book.
Basically, the only persons happy ? Matures fans, the Grindeldore(grindeldore) Part of the fandom (really nice part of the fandom ♥) and outside-fandoms fans. People with brains and who use them.
The “She should’ve put it in the books’ really gets to me. Like she will put everything in a book ! That was so relevant, since Dumbledore was also attracted by Grindelwald as a brilliant mind, equal to him and not only because he wanted to bugger him ! You can’t put everything. And they compare her to Tolkien, who added appendices and others books to LotR. Oh, the irony is killing me -_-‘’
But don’t lose hope ! XD Real writers knows the truth and that’s what count. Listen to Neil Gaiman, someone who knows what he is talking about. This author is made of awesome, I should try to read his books, really.
On another note, I’m going to kill someone on PK. It’s getting worse and worse. It’s like they are waiting for anything JKR said to bash her. Everything she said, they’re bashing, saying she’s not a good author and blablabla. You wouldn’t have anything positive if there weren’t intelligent people who were trying to explain logically things to them. In vain, infortunately. They’re so stupid, it’s not even funny anymore since they saying the same batshit again and again. A broken record, that’s all they are.
~ Talking about Grindeldore, I find (well, not only me ^^) something interesting. It takes place in the Victorian Era, after Jack the Ripper and after Oscar Wilde’s trial. Following a comment when I said that I pictured Grindelwald as Dorian, I talked a lot about the parallels between Dorian Gray, Oscat Wilde and Grindeldore with
euphony_of_loveand
youokayhoney. Maybe the fact that Albus and Gellert met during this time period, during this special historical context in England, is not a coincidence and JKR did want them to mett in this era, thus changing the original birthdate and age of Dumbledore. It would be really fascinating if it was because of that.
And that led me to have the idea to write a Grindelwald!Dorian. I’m thinking of doing some key scenes of the Picture of Dorian Gray, with a Grindelwald-like Dorian~ And maybe a bit of a character study. I don’t know yet, and I still need my book back. I can have it back in two weeks and I’ll begin to work on it then. I hope it won’t be too bad XD
~ Horny~ I’ve ordered the Book “ Making of Horatio Hornblower “ *_* I’m eager to receive it XD And I’m going to order more *_*, the Hornblower Companion and (finally!) English version of the books. I can’t wait to read them in english ^__^ (And when I've time, I'm going to do some sort of meta about the slahs couple, in both films and books)
