Mana, a not so nice princess
Fuck I’m sooooo tired çç I can berely keep my eyes open, I think I’m sick ç_ç Or my allergy is back ç_ç But that’s boring ç_ç… I feel sleepy +___+ Nonetheless I’ll post XD (who said I was a masochist è_é#)
On a Visual Kei UA RPG where I play (link here but It’s a private forum), someone started a topic on mana, asking us to help him stopp liking Mana. At least, it’s how the topic was entitled^^ People answered whether they like him or not and why…
And so and so forth I thought about it u_u
And here I go ^^
I absolutely dislike Mana ^^ I despise him for what he is, the character he plays because for me, he’s despicable… He is the vain embodiement of humain’s worst capital sin : Pride… Many love him and I thin he does not deserved this love…(>> don’t hate me for this, that’s my opinion, mate… close from the truth, though) Most of them are just fangirls who whorship his feminine beauty in spite of his harsh actions and can only scream his name in live. Fortunately, there are others intelligent fans, who see beyond his beauty. They like him for his character. Yet what they like in it is beyond me u_u
Nowadays, in our new cultures, people have an insane obsession, fascination for evil characters, nasty way of thinking, machiavellian mind. In many situations, if you take film and litteraturefor exemple, Evil is now more charismatic, more intelligent than the poor, idiotic, naïve hero. Maybe it’s because the world has become rotten, corrupted, evil himself that the evil characters are now the favorites ones. We’re far from the brave prince who save the beautiful princess from the vicious trap of the ugly evil monster. No. Now we have the stupid and loyal prince who failed to save the superficial and stupid princess from the vicious of charismatic and smart devil. Me, myself, I prefer ennemis and evil character… Because, come on, they tend to think in a way much more realistic than the good people… You can take almost any exemple (I speaka ‘bout recents one, of course ^^)…
Of course, they’re still people who prefer the good and still situations when the bad is only an ugly monster. But more and more we’re loosing the manichean separation, Good and Evil are not so different anymore… And that’s a good thing in my opinion…
I’ve a bit digressed ^^
But it’s a part of my argumentation, no worry ^^
So Mana bein’ an evil character is bein’ loved by many people, because of his beauty and because of his evil actions. Thing that I can’t possibly understand… I mean the way he’s behaving towards the member of his band is merely unbearable… Whatever it is, Malice Mizer or Moi dix Mois, he’s behaving like a dictator, “ I’m the one, I decide everything and you just STFU…” How could someone like this kinda behavior…? It’s ok to like it in something fictionnal but in reality that’s insane I think… Especially when people say that thay like this particular aspect of him…
It’s his character, I agree with this… Maybe he’s not like that in real life (But I doubt it) but even if it’s a character it has a real impact, it does have an effect ! The dictatorial “I’m the only true member of Moi dix Mois” may be an act… Then why does the member leave the band ? Why does he replace them so easily ? If it was only an act, he would’nt have had 3 singers for Malice Mizer, 2 singers, drummer & bassist who left to be replaced by members of sessions… If it was just an act, the band would’ve keep his former members… What’s left of the former band of Moi dix Mois ? Only Mana, because K came later…(…u___u I can read the word ‘come’ normally, now u_u)…
That’s the proof you CAN’T deny !
Mana is nothing but despicable. He does not consider the other members as normals persons, but as tools. Tools, he uses and then, when he does not need them anymore, he just throw them away like trash. They’re nothing but tools for him, tools to gain success, money, be famous, I don’t know and honestly I don’t care but that’s sickenin’… For members, it’s their job, their dream to make music, to be a part of a band and Mana, just to be the the best or so he thinks, fire them…
A really sick way to see someone’s dreams shattered… Just because Mana thinks they were not as good as him… Still a thing to prove… Is he so good as he claims, as his character claims…?
To sum up (and even if I’m sure, I’m forgetting something u_u)
Mana is the only member of his band.
Other members (session or not) are his tools, not permanently part of the band.
Mana is SO! loved, he does not deserved it in my opinion.
Last thing to say… Feel free to still love Mana… It’s my opinion and your opinion…
But think over…
Why do you like him ? Why’re you one of his fans ?

chtiterikku said something really interesting… Why does people add -sama behind mana ? He’s Mana, his name in the band is Mana, no sama added ? Is this not another proof that Mana is worshipped much more than he deserved. He’s a mere human, people should remember this… Really it’s pathetic…
