Yo, check it.
Whaz ap dawgs? Fo' shizzle.
...Don't know where that came from. Sorry.
Let's see...I initially intended to make some crazy long post since I haven't posted in some time. And at the time I had to lot to say and such.
Fortunatly for all of you, I forgot all the things I wanted to rant about and discuss in greater in detail at this point. So, you luck out, and I guess I do too, since I won't have to worry about back lash from people who don't agree with my views.
So, let's go over the recent stuff that I can recall.
School and work are going okay. I've been EXTREMELY busy, but that's to be expected. I've also been taking pictures for my photo journal assignment, such as the one you can see above. Not to shabby huh?
I've been selling CDs and VHS and I sold Tales of Symphonia so that I can save up for the new Sonic game for the Wii, Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Most of Sega's recent 3D Sonic outgoings have been..err...mediocre at best. ...AT BEST. But this one looks to be getting back to its roots and so far I've heard nothing but good things. Plus, until there's a Mario game, this'll do nicely.
Went and saw Ghost Rider with bro Matt last night. And like I thought it would, it rocked. Well, I thought so anyway.
It seems lots of people have been doggin' it, and I really don't understand why. When Mark and I went to go see Smokin' Aces last weekend (which I WOULDN'T recommend btw...it was better than I thought it would be, but it still wasn't great) and we saw a trailer for Ghost Rider, he said he thought it looked cheesey.
...And I just don't see it. I mean, what's so cheesey about it?
I mean, it certainly wasn't the deepest super hero movie. But truth be told none of them really are. And sure, Ghost Rider had it's share of comic book cheesey lines, but so did Spider-Man and all of Tim Burton's Batmans and such. I mean, that just comes with the territory.
But anyway, I also love the character and I like Nicholas Cage, so maybe that helped.
Plus Eva Mendez ain't too bad neither...mrow...
Anyway, I'd recommend it.
So anyway, As I also mentioned, Mark finally came by my house last weekend. We played some of his Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (which I simply fell in love with. It's just so much fun and instant insanity...I'll have to pick up my own copy sometime) and then we played my Metal Slug Anthology. We then posed for the pic you see above, and then it was off to see Smokin' Aces. As I stated before, it was better than I expected, but it was still trash. It was kinda cool, and I didn't mind giving up the money per sey, but if Mark hadn't want to see it so badly, I don't think I would have lost any sleep over not seeing it.
I've also been getting more involved with the media crew at my church. On thursday I got to play around with the camera. I initially intended to come in for the saturday night sermon and volunteer, but I was really tired when I got back. Plus, Matt called and wanted to see Ghost Rider.
But it seems to me that they had enough people (they did on their schedule anyway, so I imagine they were okay), and Doug (the gentleman I spoke with) said only show up if you'd like, so I guess I'm okay. Still, I did kinda feel bad...
Err...I suppose that's it. Which is good since Fresh Prince is on. Hmmm...thought I had more than that to say though.
Ah well.
Peace out!
