[2011 Autumn drama reviews] Nankyoku Tairiku, Nazotoki, Yokai Ningen & Runaway

Jan 16, 2012 21:57

Many of the 2012 winter drama has begun airing... and I ended up watching the first episode of [Strawberry Night] as well ^^"l That makes 7 drama which I'll probably be following
。。。。(((o・ω・)♪
And since I got a day off work... I re-watched [Sushi Oji] all over again~ A very free day indeed =w= So I better finish all the last season's review before I get too behind =) So we go~ Our Johnnys♥

南極大陸 (Nankyoku Tairiuku

My favorite drama of the season, a drama full of meanings! And almost every episode made me cry... the last episode made me sobbed like a baby. KimuTaku is still the most flawless man in Japan♥ Actually, when I watched the beginning of the first episode I kind of fast forwarded my way through~ But it got better, and it gets better every episode! Just watching the relationships of the men and the dogs and watching them through all the tough times while doing their very first research on the land of South Pole. There were moment where I gasped, where my hand formed into fists without me noticing and of course many times where tears just flow uncontrollably! ゚・(p>□<q)・゚ A very powerful drama and 110% worth watching! ★★★★★

謎解きはディナーのあとで (Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de)

First of all, Sakurai Sho makes the best butler~ And I love the combination of Kageyama & Reiko!(≧ω≦)b Now back to the drama itself: mystery. That's right, one of my favorite genre in dramas, and this one was definitely no exception. Now it is definitely quite interesting watching how the problem gets solved and the culprit gets caught, throughout the episode many things stayed in the same formation in terms of presentation, although there are a little bit of differences here and there. Unlike most mystery crime dramas (which involves guns and lots of chasing) this one is pretty much all brain stuff! But it's funny watching the interaction between the master and the butler. Overall, a great drama, since it's partly comedy as well. Anyway ★★★★!

妖怪人間ベム (Yokai Ningen Bem)

Every season there'll be a drama or 2 that are more about fantasy and supernatural things. Yokai Ningen was an excellent adaption on the original anime! And I love the casts, Kame's voice is still so sexy, Suzuki Fuku is just the most adorable little monster (≧v≦●)and Anne is SO COOL! The animating team certainly did an excellent job on the monsters, they look revolting rather than scary. Overall story line was nice, about how these monster try to find a way to become humans while helping humans in need, fitting in always seems to be a problem for them despite all the kind things they've done. The last episode was the most emotional episode of all (yes, a few other episode made me teary) and although I wasn't quite satisfied with the ending, overall is was still a very good drama ★★★★!

ランナウェイ~愛する君のために (Runaway~Aisuru Kimi no Tame ni)

This the drama I hadn't planned to watch in the beginning, but curiosity of how Uepi can play a Kansai-ben speaking criminal with crew cut made me download the first episode. To be honest, I didn't really concentrate on this drama on the beginning~ I downloaded the episode each week and sort of just skipped my way through the first few episodes until I thought the storyline became more interesting. For a thriller drama, it was very well put together with so many twist here and there. Watching the criminals close to being caught somehow made me hold my own breathe as well! And there are emotional parts as well, although I didn't exactly go teary I don't think φ(。。*)But it is a drama that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, and big twists will made your eyes pop out AND Uepi's cute character + Kasai-ben~ ★★★★~
-------------------------------

Yep, holiday is the season for excellent dramas and movies! And I look forward to writing reviews for the 7 dramas I'll be following. So far, I've watched the first episode of [Strawberry Night] and realize Maruyama is it too (although not so major), [HUNGRY!] (Sato Shori and Goro-chan who always seems to play a character you'd want to punch because he's so arrogant), [Saigo no Jinsei...] (A very depressing drama in a way), [Risou no Musuko] (So damn hilarious ♪(^∇^*)) and [13-sai no Hello Work] (unexpectedly good! Although Yokoyama's character seems kind of weak at this point~)
Anyway, that's all from me for now, ja~!
