Chapter 2 is finished... wrote more than I thought I was going to write~ but that's a good thing. Haven't exactly proved read it yet so grammar errors are probably quite common. Please forgive me!

“Rise and Shine~ sleeping beauty!” that was the first thing that came into my ears this morning, YuMi’s loudest morning call. I wriggled a bit under my blanket, hoping to sleep in more; I really didn’t get much sleep last night. But looks like YuMi isn’t going to let that happen. She throws open the curtain, letting the sunlight shine through the window and blazed on my eyes. I quickly pulled the blanket over my head and groaned.
“That’s too bright~~ it’s still early!!” I complained
“Lin~ wakey wakey~?” YuMi rocked my bed “Remember you’ve got a date today!”
“For the last time, it’s not a date!” I grumbled, sticking half of my head out.
“Hmm… in my experience, one boy and one girl alone… That’s a date! I bet he’s just using that apology thing as an excuse.” YuMi bragged and poked my forehead.
“Sis you’re thinking too much!” I protested while climbing out from the other side of the bed and walked over to my closet. YuMi stepped in front of me before I could reach it.
“Ah-ah, Lin there’s no way we’re going for anything inside there” she pointed at my blue, slightly aged closet.
“Huh?” I raised an eye-brow at her.
“We, my dear, are going shopping today!” she flashed a grin at me. Oh no, I hope she doesn’t over do it.
It’s not that I don’t trust her; she’s just getting too excited about this thing. On a general bases she likes to stick her nose into everything that concerns me. But that’s just her way of showing me she cares. So most of the time I let her do whatever she wants with me, since I don’t really know much about what to do anyway. It didn’t take long for her to pick out all the right outfits and accessories, measured me up and down and have everything ready.
“Err… I feel weird~” I moaned. Long dress almost dragging on the floor, and something I find very difficult to walk in.
“Oh darling you look adorable~” YuMi had a smile of satisfaction on her face “now go get that boy!” she cheered. I grimaced… seems like she’s more excited than I am.
“Yeah, if I can actually make it to the palace with what I’m wearing,” I said sarcastically. But somehow I managed to make my way to the palace without causing any dramas. When I arrived, he was already there waiting with his promised horse. A smile appeared across his face as soon as he saw me.
“Lin!” he waved his hand excitingly. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I hear him call my name. So I turned my attention to our ‘transportation’ for this afternoon.
“So this must be Kildon.” I said, patting the creature lightly. It was a dazzling horse, completely spotless white coating and flawless blond mane and tail. It neighed happily as I patted his face.
“Yep, the one and only!” Ryosuke replied proudly, putting his hand on Kildon’s back “So shall we get going?”
“Mmm~okay!” I answered. I got onto Kildon’s back fairly easily, he’s very stable. Ryosuke climbed on after me, sitting behind me. His hands reached around me to grab hold of the rein, now I can feel his body heat against my back from his firm chest, my heart raced.
“Ready?” he whispered lightly in my ears, sending tingles up my spine. I refrained myself from showing any reaction.
“Ready!” I nodded.
“Let’s go, Kildon!” He ordered with a little shake at the rein, the white steed responded immediately to its master’s command. He trotted gracefully as he travelled through the town, once we were out of the town and away from the people; Kildon began to speed up into a full gallop. We were racing out into the fields. Ryosuke was right, it was very fun. There’s no way that any horse could travel at full speed in town. There’s simply too many building and people around… in another word too many obstacles in the way. But out here where it seems to be endless amount of grass lands, there’s nothing to stop the creatures from running to their hearts’ content. And to be able to feel that full speed, and the cool wind against my face, it was a priceless moment.
“See? Told you it’s fun!” the voice from behind me yelled.
“Yeah!” I yelled back. Kildon appeared to be enjoying himself too, lifting his head higher every now and then.
After a short ride, we stopped on the top of a small hill covered in small yellow flowers. Ryosuke and I jumped off Kildon’s back as he went around enjoying a small meal of juicy green grass.
“This place is so amazing” I exclaimed as we sat down on the hill.
“I’m glad you liked it, I always come here when I’m in a bad mood. Kildon will always come here with me whenever I want to. You know, you’re the first person ever to ride on Kildon apart from me?”
“Really? I’m surprised that he’s so friendly” I replied “If it’s my Tilly, she won’t let anyone on her back except for me. One of my dad’s horses gave birth to her when I was 10. Dad was going to sell her but I begged my dad to let me keep her. Even though she was a foal back then, she was already fairly crazy. Anyone apart from me trying to ride her she’ll jump like mad.”
“That’s a pretty unique horse you’ve got there!” he said cheerfully.
“She is very special.” I answered, looking down at the flowers. For the rest of the afternoon we sat there and just talked. I found out that he’s an only child, and what things he likes and don’t like. And coincidentally we both like strawberries!
“Hey Lin~!” he said suddenly. My head snapped up reflectively in respond o my name, another reaction occurred inside me, butterflies fluttering in my stomach again.
“You haven’t called my name yet” he looked at me seriously “I’m already calling you Lin, so you should start addressing me as Ryosuke too!”
I grimaced.
“Uh… umm… Well” I mumbled nervously.
“C’mon. Try it! Ryosuke~” he encouraged,
“Ry-Ryosuke…” I pushed the words out of my mouth, my voice trembled timidly.
“See that wasn’t so hard, was it?” he smiled at me, that smile sent my heart racing at 100 miles per hour.
We were silent for a while; the sun was slowing setting down at the horizon, casting soft, golden lights onto the green grass. There are no words to describe how unbelievably lovely the view is from this hill.
“It’s so beautiful!” I breathed.
“It is” Ryosuke agreed, placing his hand on mine and giving it a little squeeze. I felt this static travelling up my arm and my face flushing red. Even though it wasn’t my first time touching his hand, it’s definitely different from a friendly handshake. I turned around, and I saw a pair of charming brown eyes looking straight back at mine. He smiled widely.
“I didn’t get to say this earlier, but you look gorgeous today, Lin” he spoke leisurely.
“Th-Thank you” I replied, unable to hide my smile. He raised his eye brows, as if waiting for me to say something else,
“…Ryosuke” I added.
