Lisbon con'd
4th day in lisbon... Almost missed hotel breakfast again;)... We are on vacation at the end! The weather made me happy again with sun, +23 degrees and blue sky! Today we finally took a route to Belem. Hesitating between tram and taxi, decided to take the tram 15e to pretend locals;)) the walk to the tram stop from our hotel is very nice via avenida do liberdad, couple of nice squares, pedestrian street and to the comercial square at the river bank. Tram takes about 15 minutes to go and we are in a nice green area of warterfront Belem. The parks and promenade are very beautiful in the sunshine. The monestry and museum of modern art is worth seeing inside and the arcitecture of borh is interesting in different ways.... Prior that the lunch in one of the small restos overlooking the parks is enjoyable and relaxing. We had our in some brazilian place- very tasty and simple food! The walk to belem tower along the river could also be enterupted by a couple of drinks in the riversidr cafes. Tram back was crowded but we still made it and are thinking of dinner now;))
